Gold Shop [discontinued]

Texas I have at least 2 members who can't access the shop at all, and I know the old version worked fine for 1 member, and it doesn't show up in any browser she has tried. pondfriends.boards.net

Timebomb007 I just fixed a similar problem for one of my members. He could see his items in his profile, but when he attempted to go the shop it would take him to the shop page but wouldn't load anything and a similar empty page would come up when I attempted to edit his inventory.

Turns out the problem was linked to an item ID that I had removed but was still listed as being in his inventory when I checked the boards source code. I created a new blank item with the non-existant ID, removed the blank item from his inventory, and then he was able to see the shop once again.

I don't know if that's your problem, but it sounds the same.

Thanks. I don't notice that being a problem; however Texas, I see Remove Items doesn't load for those 2 IDs, but they load for others I have tried.

I am unable to gift items or remove items and I read up on how you're supposed to do it, but the options just aren't available. I enabled my account Akane to remove them but it's still not working. Please help v.v

mysterygirl92: I would update to the newest version of the shop first, your forum appears to have the old version on it. Then you can get to the shop via the yootil bar in the lower left hand corner.

Right, that works. It's the Remove Items page that doesn't load.

Timebomb007: I think I figured it out. Your problem was much like logiccure's problem, when your shop updated, the user had two ID's that were "non-existant" as a result, they wound up with two id's that were "null" making it impossible for the shop to find the items since there are no ID's in the shop with "null" as their key. I think it should be fixed now.

Texas is there any way to change the Dollar symbol to something else? Most sites would be using made up currency names, even a changeable link to an uploaded jpeg etc?

I believe that would be under the Monetary System Plugin -> Settings -> Text Replacements -> Money Symbol     ?

Nori is correct. The symbol is taken from the monetary systems settings. So if you want to change that, follow Nori's directions.
