The little shopping cart doesn't show up on my forum therefore there is no way to access the shop... I used a superkey to install it. Is there going to be a fix for this or did I waste my key?

trill69: We are currently experiencing problems and trying to figure things out. As for your key, simply removing the plugin will give you your key back.

Heyo, I've asked this question before regarding putting a button on the navigation bar for the gold shop and currently the extension reads "/user?shop?items" but now it's just linking all the users back to their profiles. Is there something I need to change with the update?

Edit: I saw that someone else from finalsunrise posted this question so I downgraded it, but it's still not linking to the shop? We can access it from the button beside the piggy bank but for anyone having problems with the items, the categories got deleted in the upgrade/downgrade, just add the categories back in so your items can be seen.

Well, it's been a ride guys, but all good things must come to an end. From the day I started developing the Gold Shop, I've spent countless hours mulling over evasive problems and squishing bugs with what I affectionately call my banfingers. However, my recent laps in activity wasn't for no reason, as you might have guessed by now, I am still in school, and will be for roughly 6-7 years more. I am currently a Junior in high-school, and I've got life to deal with.

I've put a lot of time and effort into this, I didn't get much praise, but that was not the reason I took on the job. I took on the job, because I wanted to learn, and by golly I've learned a lot. But, just like how we have to leave highschool and college, I must leave this learning experience behind me.

With Peter's recent development of the monetary shop, as much as I hate to admit it, my plugin is basically obsolete. I had originally hoped to move to a super key and create pBey (ProBoards Bey) where users could put their items for sale and sell them to other users. But, I started looking at my priorities, and where this plugin lies in them. Currently, my first priority in my life is school, and it's not easy to maintain a GPA of 4. So, with a decreasing amount of time on my hands, and an increasing amount of jobs and school to deal with, I do not have time to do an almost complete rewrite of the Gold Shop. So, sadly I must bid farewell to this plugin.

To all of you who are still using this, I apologize. I really am sorry for the trouble I am putting you through, but it's just the way it's gonna have to be. If you have any questions about converting your items to Peter's shop, I will gladly help you though. (the plugin will still work if it's installed on your forum, but if a bug occurs there will be no fix)

And last, I would like to make the sad announcement. The Gold Shop will officially be removed from the ProBoards library tomorrow. And to add a touch of flare to the whole thing. Tomorrow just happens to be the one year anniversary of the first release of the Gold Shop. So, I feel that it is a good time to say goodbye.

It's been a wonderful year. I've learned a lot, and I hope that in the future I'll be able to return and develop some other awesome plugin for y'all.

Unlike! I love the Gold Shop Tex and use it alongside Peters shop, But Im using 3.1.3 which I downloaded and kept, and all works well on it, thanks for all you did with it man, really appreciate it, yep sk00l is more important I know, but we will all miss the upcoming features, maybe one day you will return to it who knows! Thanks again for a great plugin dude, and no its not obsolete in any way, just gave people 2 options for shops, well 3thanks to pastuleo23, But yours was/is the only one with "left in stock" option that is vital! Ill remove the pBey logo thingy I made so Texas since it not needed , best of luck to you in whatever you do, you will be missed!!

I clicked like to show my appreciation but dont like it, Love the Gold Shop and all you have given us texas, an always used plugin on my site and always will be, much obliged for the efforts you made with it, I'm agreeing with the above post in that it is in no way obsolete at all, wish you much luck in whatever you decide to do and thanx for a super super addition to my site this is a sad day.................

fluffysauce: Your using an older version of the Gold Shop that very well might have some problems. You can update now, or wait a few days for the newest version be accepted by ProBoards.

I'm sorry if I am missing it, but I don't see the button, and I just installed/updated goldshop... This is what I see... Is it right in front of me and  I'm just blind? 0-0 (it's possible v.v) I just have no clue and I'm sorry for any inconveniences... I even checked the gear and it isn't an option...

fluffysauce there is a problem with 3.4.0, downgrade to 3.1.3, use /?shop as the link in navigation not /user?shop?items as said in the first post, Texas changed it to /?shop
