Gold Shop [discontinued]

Well I just gave another member one stall and one token, and when I reloaded the page, it said she bought 6 stalls and 7 tokens! I removed them, other than the ones I gifted her, but this is the second time this has happened? Could it be a glitch?

The member was Akadeanna(http://farpointstables.proboards.com/user/7) however, as I said, I already removed the extra items that it randomly gave her. I'm just worried that if another member gives someone a gift it'll do the same thing, and suddenly say that they have 7 extra that they bought, when really they didn't...

Ahhhh, okay, checked your forum again and it looks like your running an older version that has bugs in it. I wouldn't update yet, cause the new current version also has problems, so you may just want to refrain from giving at the moment and instead just give people money to buy the stuff that you want to give them. I've sent another version to proboards that "should" be bug free. I'll let you know when it's been accepted.

Okay, go to your forum in chrome and hit f12. That should pull up a console thingy at the bottom of the page. Click on the tab at the top of the popup that says console. But you should wait till proboards accepts my update to update you current version.

Also, you have to have the plugin enabled for code I told you to work.

Just want to announce that the next update ( not the one you guys are waiting on right now, but the next ) will have pBey ( ProBoards Electronic Yard ). pBey is a place where users can by and sell items to other users at there own price. In the update that is currently being looked at by ProBoards, there is a brief glimpse of it ( I was in the middle of working on it when that big bug popped up ). You can enable it if you want, but it needs a little setup and there are no instructions on how to do so. So I'd just leave it be. I will also be adding an update-checker. So those of you who don't check this thread often will get an alert when a new version is released. Keep in mind that I may not update the alert to the newest version until I'm sure the new version is stable ( bug free[-ish] ). So, although I might have had an update, and proboards may have approved it, I might not actually let all you admins know for a day or two. Just to give it some time for any major problems to surface that I may have somehow missed.

Just thought I'd let you all know.

May I make a few requests for future versions?
-Put the "Cost | Amount | ID" all in separate columns. It will look a little neater.
-There should be a separate column for "Item Name," or the item name should appear under the item's image. I have large descriptions for each item to describe how they are used and such, so I have to put the item's name in capitals to make it obvious, then the description after, which looks a little odd(http://farpointstables.proboards.com/user?shop?items)(I don't believe the shop is viewable for guests, so if you would like to see it to see what I'm talking about, let me know.
-There should be a function to automatically give members items when they join. For example, on my site, every member gets one free "stall" and one free "token" when they join. Instead of my doing it manually for every member who joins, it would be nice to have a function that would automatically give every member who signs up these two items automatically, free of charge.

So just some things I'd love to see if you're able to do any of those in the future

1. I will likelly do this in the future. It seems relatively simple but the way I have it set up it actually is an important part of the shop and changing will take a considerable amount of coding.

Can I suggest something?

For like events, have items be shown in the store, but off sale. So no one can buy it, but they are able to see it.

Also, the API option to give someone a item without buying it won't seem to work.
