Wait, so the members are saying they "bought" something, yet there funds are untouched? Or the mod is giving items and they are getting random items along with the ones given?

The latter, "the mod is giving items and the members are getting random items along with the ones given".

Those random items, when hovered over, state that they have been bought but the members funds are untouched.

Update: Example: One of the Mods made several purchases of different items. The Mod then gave specific items to the member. However, everything that was in the Mods purchased Shop Items their profile, appeared in the members Shop Items.  The Given items are there and state that they are given. The other items claim to have been bought by the member.

The only prob I ever had was when a few items had the same ID number and it was giving multiple items but when I found the error everything was fine.

pinder: Could you give me a forum URL, and open your forum to registration ( if it's not already ). Since no one else is having this problem, and I can't replicate it, I'm going to assume that a) Your version of Gold Shop is not actually the current version ( somewhere I accidentally didn't update the version ) b) Some coding on your forum is messing with stuff ( not very likely but still possible ).

One of my members is saying the Stock Market info is getting cut off. I recently reduced the forum width (totally a beginner user, so I may have done it wrong). It looks fine on my screen, but he says it is getting cut off on his. Any suggestions on what the issue might be and where I can fix it?

Also...love the plugin!! My members do as well. So much potential...now we just need to figure out how to tap into that potential. lol

The only additional feature they are asking for is a tax system. Well...they've got all kinds of suggestions...but most are a little out there.

I think I figured it out. I didn't enable "compact" mode when I adjusted the forum width.

DanBlue, the Stock Market is part of the Monetary System plugin, which was created and maintained by Peter, not Texas. Go to this thread, instead, for any concerns about the Monetary System-related features, such as the Stock Market, wages, money, etc. The Gold Shop deals with items and those functions that relate to them, such as item catalog, purchases, back-selling, etc.

I have a major problem...

I have Yootil, the Monetary Sytem, and the Gold Shop installed, but when I click on an item to buy it, it doesn't... work. It subtracts the points (money) from my profile, but it doesn't give me the item. My forum is here. For some reason, I'm the only one who can't buy anything; when my members buy something, it works perfectly. The shop item that I'm trying to buy is the wolf. Both of the corresponding plugins are in the places that they need to be in.

Please help, this needs to be fixed ASAP. D:

Okay, new question. lol

I read through the posts and didn't see the answer, so if I missed it, please feel free to slap me upside the head. Not too hard though.

I'm not seeing any kind of notification when an item is given to a member. Is there some place for the receiver to know who gave the item to them, and is there some place that a staff member can confirm the transfer?

Also, it appears as though you cannot return a given item to the store. My concept was for people to buy a token from the store, give the token to another member as payment, and the token could be returned to the store by the receiver to get the cash. Is this a possiblity? Or does anyone have another suggestion for how to build a "fee for service" system...without all kinds of manual adjustments of money?

One last thing...I gave myself (the admin) "permission" to remove items from people, but I can't find where to do this. Could you help me with this?

In addition to my last question/ problem, which, you know, still hasn't been answered (and I really do need it fixed urgently), I've had the exact same problem. .o.
