I hope today finds you well!  Everything for my shop, as far as mechanics are concerned, is in working order. =P

Thank you so much for this plug-in! I love it, and can definitely see a big improvement coming for the site I'm working on with being able to use this item shop.

My question is more of an aesthetics one.  Does the gold shop have specific CSS selectors for title-bars?  Or would I be able to assign these?  I would like the title-bars to match the rest of the site.

Well, first off, you're running a fairly old version of the shop. So you might want to update. As for the other question, I don't have time to answer right now, but I'll get to you tomorrow. (it should be possible though )

Sorry if this has been asked, but is there a way to link shop items to real items, like if someone bought a "V.I.P Membership" to access V.I.P sections, could there be a way for it to auto promote that user to a V.I.P rank when they buy it?

Hello Texas! Thanks for answering my questions, they keep popping up! So when we try to buy something in the shop, we get the little popup that asks how much you want to buy. I put in 1, and even if I have enough money, it comes up with this:
"Gold Shop Error: 101

You do not have enough money to buy that item!"

Hmmm, well I checked your forum and it works for me. Is there any specific item that it happens on? Or does it happen on all of them?

Just a note, since I'm not sure about the title-bars yet, I just wanted to pop in and say: my Gold Shop has been upgraded, so I've done what I can on my end. =3

No pressure, I know this is a busy thread: just wanted to do what I need to on my end to catch up with what was asked of me.

Hey, Texas, my forum is having a bit of an issue with the Gold Shop plugin. At around 9:20 CST, one of my members bought an item (Candidate Robes) from the shop and tried to transfer it from one account to another; however, the item just sort of disappeared. Another member tested to see if the same would happen to her, and it did. I did the same with the same results. We aren't able to transfer items between accounts. The items disappear from the sender's account, but never make it to the recipient's.

I have the latest version of Yootil installed, along with the latest version of the Monetary System, and all three plugins (this one included) are in the proper order: Yootil, Monetary, then Gold Shop.

Update: The issue seems to have worked itself out...  ; Sorry for the bother.

It mainly only happens to one person, the owner, and currently the only admin.

P̌̓aͧś̀t̀u͒le͆o͂2̀3̃̓: Actually, I have yet to start development on pBey. Right now I am finishing development on the v3 of the Shop, which is prepping for pBey. I needed to revise the way items were stored so that it was a lot more compact.

I've also been thinking of ways to set up pBey. I actually came up with an idea last night, the idea was so good I actually called myself a genius Anyway, the idea is to use a forum key to store "unimportant" data. So, data that's doesn't relate to any single persons items. This way, if someone overwrites someone else, it's not that important. So, the idea is, you create an item and submit it. The item them has to be approved by a mod. Once it's established as a valid item by a mod, people can start selling. When a person wants to sell an item, they go to the pBey page, and submit the item. In the forum key, all that is added it their username to the item that they want to sell. Meanwhile, the data for the actual transaction is stored in their own super user key.

This way, if someone overwrites the fact that they just applied to sell something, the data is in their super user key. If we constantly check to make sure the data in the forum key, matches the data of the current member, then we'll catch the fact that "bob" has an item for sale in his super user key, but it's not listed in the global forum key. Then we can just use a simple alert box to say that the forum key needs updated and that get's rid of all the potential problems with overwriting.

By the way everyone, pBey will be an ad-on to the Gold Shop, I don't want to force an extra super key on everyone that uses the shop, plus I'm not sure that all the code for both pBey and the Gold Shop would fit in one plugin (gold shop is already at 1200 lines).

Hi, Texas. Adding punctuations to the category name and item category makes the items not show up. In my case, adding the . and ' in St. Patrick's Day.
