Pulling info from a post and using it to update mini profile

I am already using a script to add content to the end of each user's mini profile. Is there a easy way to make it so i can make a post on a thread that the script would look to instead of updating the footer everytime i wanted to change something

lets get more detailed. you have some text in the mini-profile, that you want to change based on what is in the post it is next to?

no just based on the individual user. I have a script in the footer to change but changing a post on a board no one can access would be alot easier then modifying the footer everytime i wanted to change.

well the information stored in a post isnt globally accessible
