It's really up to personal taste, but here's my modified colors for the login page.
Background- a04001 Text Color- ffffff Container One- 009999 Container Two- e48000 Text Color- 005252
By default, the page is orange and blue. I stuck with that, but switched it up a bit so the colors are a little more appealing.

If you really want to customize, pull out a better color hexadecimal cheat sheet. Here's one: www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.aspI recommend a light color for the background and a dark Text Color #1 to blend the background with the mandatory white background. Or you could do a sharper contrast and go dark background and light text #1. Then you can flip and flop around with complimentary colors or something similar for the containers. The key is to make the first Text Color contrast with the Background and both containers to contrast with the second Text Color. I currently have the following: d9d9d9(light grey) 015608(Dark green) 00a53d(meh green) 00a53d(the same) 000000(Black) Before I had something like: 9933ff(Light Purple) 001c5f(Dark Green) 008f00(Deep Green) 990033(Deep Purple) ffffff(White) But I'm not entirely satisfied with my color choices.
