Hello, I'm sure I'm not the first person to come here with issues of Proboards acting funky lately. I figured I'd at least come here, and see what's going on and anything I can do to help make the members of my site aware and prepared. Simply, for the fact that they try to post and either get logged out every couple minutes or it says that the site cannot be reached (See attached photo) I've been having problems for a few weeks now and I know now, some of my members are having issues too. I'm not here to be mad or complain, simply here to let you know that I too, am having an issue. I have good faith you're on the ball of trying to fix it. So a list of problems: 1) Getting logged out every few minutes at the most. 2) Cloudfare server not working. (Photo attached is what I keep getting more often than not on ANY proboards forum I'm on.) 3) A few small things, nothing overly note worthy. 4) The photos on my site sometimes disappear. I'm assuming it has to do with the server acting up. If needed, my site link is here: starwarsgalaxyrising.proboards.com/ Thanks, Skylar

The being logged out issue is new to me, I haven't seen anyone else with that problem. Could you provide more details? Are you redirected? Does it log you out when you load a new page? For the other issue could you follow these steps for me: 1. Traceroute run from your location. Here is how to do so: support.cloudflare.com/entries/22050846-how-do-i-run-a-traceroute 2. Output from visiting http://"your domain here"/cdn-cgi/trace in your web browser, for example on support: support.proboards.com/cdn-cgi/trace

Hello Michael, The log in thing started today; it won't let me logged in for more than a few seconds. Others on my site are having this issue as well. Pretty much, I log in > Attempt another page > Logs me out. Not much else to explain, really. As far as the traceroute thing goes, I put the address in the network section and I got this: ----- traceroute: Warning: www.starwarsgalaxyrising.proboards.com has multiple addresses; using 190.93.247.75 traceroute to www.starwarsgalaxyrising.proboards.com (190.93.247.75), 64 hops max, 40 byte packets 1 router.belkin (192.168.2.1) 18.191 ms 0.844 ms 1.337 ms 2 * * * 3 gateway-g2-1-050-tnkblocal1.tnk.ptd.net (24.229.48.121) 298.768 ms 365.062 ms 345.018 ms 4 xe-2-0-7-821.ar1.iad1.us.nlayer.net (69.31.31.205) 343.848 ms 376.530 ms 385.091 ms 5 as13335.xe-9-0-2.ar1.iad1.us.nlayer.net (69.31.30.14) 375.979 ms as13335.xe-7-0-3.ar1.iad1.us.nlayer.net (69.31.31.90) 416.700 ms as13335.xe-9-0-2.ar1.iad1.us.nlayer.net (69.31.30.14) 433.611 ms 6 190.93.247.75 (190.93.247.75) 441.548 ms 450.448 ms 457.410 ms ---- I'm not sure what all of this means. I know I use our home router and my phone to access the site.

Still need the second step! Edit: I've been browsing your forum and haven't been able to re-create the logging out issue. I noticed that you're using a heavily outdated version of Firefox. Could you try switching to a supported browser and see if the issue continues?

Michael, Whoops (Sorry!)! this is what I got: fl=16f10 h=starwarsgalaxyrising.proboards.com ip=24.246.242.202 ts=1375205247.766 visit_scheme=http uag=Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 colo=IAD spdy=off - As far as updating my browsers, I can't do so with my computer. I have an old mac and it won't let me update them anymore. (I'm hoping to upgrade soon) I've tried to update all of them, but they won't due to the fact I can no longer update my software. (Using a macbook pro) EDIT: I was informed that a player on my site uses a freshly updated Chrome and is having the same issue.

Thanks, Could you try clearing your cookies/cache and see if this alleviates the logout issue? Yourself and other users could have just received a bad cookie.

Michael, I delete my cookies; doesn't seem to be helping. I'm not quite sure what to do at this point...

Michael, The only thing I can think of is the links section and the updates section. Those have been up for a long while, however. I recently put up some new Affiliates, but those aren't linked to the site. And of course, I have links all of the forum with links to other pages. But I normally copy and paste for the link.

Michael, Just some changes in modship and ajusting some things in the sidebar. I also added a new section called resources, but didn't think it would have messed with the site. Other than that, nothing. =/

Other than that, nothing. =/ Are the facebook/twitter follow buttons new? Edit: Figured it out: The login page submits to a non www. URL, so if you have bookmarks or links on your page that go to www. then you'll be logged out since its a different domain. Domains do not have www. in them.

stone Ah, okay. Is there anything then that I need to do to correct this? Check your bookmarks for incorrect bookmarks, check your navigation bar for URL's with www. in them, as well as any other place that you click on that causes a logout.

Michael, I can't even stay logged in long enough to get to my bookmarks. And if I could, if I 'unbookmarked' them all, would that take care of the issue?
