Forum is Lagging for all users, including myself.

Hello, I have been having an issue with my forum lagging when I myself, and my other Administrator have been using it. We are currently posting all of the information needed for our roleplaying game onto it, as this will be our forums support for our IRC based game.

We were not having this issue yesterday, but today the site seems to have slowed down significantly. We both use Google Chrome for our broswsers with Windows 7, if that is relevant. Any idea why the drastic change in speed?

Our systems administrator is currently looking into some issues that could be contributing to the slowdown you're experiencing. Can I ask how long you've noticed that this lag has been occurring today?

For myself, I've only been online for about an hour, so at least for the past hour. I won't be able to speak to my other Admin until later on this evening, but as soon as I am able to ask if they also experienced the slowdown, I will update you to see how long it may have been going on.

How are things for you now? I've been clicking around and the lag I experienced at first is gone now.

It's looking like the only boards I am having issues with are the ones labeled "Resources" and "Approved Characters". Could that be due to the high volume of threads within those two boards?

Yup an hour sounds about right. I notice it on some forums but not others. I am posting on this one where I am a member and it is slow

How many seconds of lag are you experiencing? I just did a quick test and didn't experience any?

Its sporadic, some members are experiencing 6 seconds for the message window to appear after hitting quote.  And the reply takes between 6 and 12 seconds to go through.  My last one took 12 seconds to go through.

 You've been transfered off, as soon as everything warms back up it should be back to normal.
