I use chrome. Other members who use chrome say the same thing.

So I tried adding an image and content using the Presto Box in my side bar. I attempted to pull it off by using html tags, but it won't display right. Will it even work with the side bar plugin or am I just doing something wrong? Any help would be very appreciated! =]

Its for posts. in your side bar, you can already just put straight HTML, so this plugin wouldnt be necessary for that.

What would be the HTML alternative giving the same effects as the plugin? I realize that the plugin does not work on custom pages, and I cannot find any html that would fade the image slowly to reveal the other. All I could get my hands on is a code with just reveals the other image.

Like, I am looking for the fade to be as slow and smooth as the presto box plugin effects.

Hey I am trying to figure out how to make the presto box work in the side bar? I read through the topic and I couldn't find anything that might help. I am using the Sidebar Redux plugin.

so i'm trying to use this here and it's not working for me...i did everything that was said to do but the hover effect is showing.. i'm trying to add a image to the boards description..

Are you checking on phone or pc? I can't immediately look, but I thought it needed a classname of your board cell?

EDIT:  you have a custom main forum template so it cant find where the board descriptions are supposed to be.  get the update when it posts.

Hi Worm, I'm using the same forum template as SweetiePie but the "div.boards td.board div.board-description" didn't work for me. Forum is here. Any thoughts as to why it won't work?

Hi Wormopolis thank you, I like your plugin a lot and am using it here buffy.boards.net to put both image and text in the board description. I have a issue though: it works great on pc but not on mobile devices. The text comes after the image without the hover effect (which could be ok) and before both one can see the code[presto] Can you help me solve the issue? Or tell me how to disable the plugin for the mobiles? Tks in advance

I'm having trouble utilizing this on my forum: cherryrp.boards.net

I have been fiddling around, and here is the play-by-play.

1) Installed the plugin.
2) Placed this in a board image [presto][direct link image url]Test Content[/presto]
3) Loaded up the home page, the staff board had that code in it and nothing else.
4) Looked in the thread, stuck div.board-description in the selector part of the plugin.
5) Reload the Home page, the staff board now has [direct link image url]Test Content and nothing else. The presto tags disappeared.
6) Went back in and set the staff board to this [presto][img="direct link url"]Test Content[/presto], now the entire code vanishes, but no image is loaded and nothing seems to happen.

So I'm at a loss as to what to do. I'd really like to get this working, because I don't like the Board Description Images plugin at all, for how it displays.

Am I doing something wrong with the image link?
