I'm viewing it in Chrome and it moves for me as well. It's fixed at the bottom of the screen but it almost acts like a second layer on the site, when you scroll the site moves and it just stays at the bottom of your screen and just goes on top of whatever is underneath it. I took a screenshot that shows how it just overlaps the site here. You guys are confusing me. It is supposed to be fixed at the bottom. It is another layer which is why I told яλíĐєn to go to the template and add 4 or 5 breaks so it isn't covering ProBoards stuff. Maybe our communications here is haywire. ??í??n said: Static is when something stays in one spot. That is what it does for me, it stays at the bottom. Scrolls with the page means it moves just like the forum moves when you scroll. Anyway, I checked in FF and it is in a fixed or static position for me. I was hoping I made it clear I couldn't get it to be at the bottom of the forum and move with the forum (scroll) without affecting the width. If you want ??í??n, I can just leave this for someone else to work out. I really don't know how to get that out of your wrapper and that is what it seems to do in any position other than fixed. (absolute, relative) OmG! My English IS BADDIE Sorry for the awful confusion and yes its haywire >.> I apologize to you Tumbleweed but remember i use translator and me understanding some words are not very well. I meant not to scroll with the site. But let's just leave it like that. I still like the code and i appreciate your effort. Here is my site gamersunitycommunity.proboards.com/I wasn't going to show it publicly until launching it officially for my community. Let's go back to the original code you made me have the pillars inside that html code i am using currently. As for the copyright can it be inside the line?

That's o.k., I'm sure it is hard to understand when English isn't your first language and tranlators aren't the most accurate either. But I think you meant you "want it to scroll with the site". If it doesn't scroll it is then static or fixed. lol Again, I'm lost. I don't know what "pillars" means and I don't know what you want to go back to. You mean the first code I gave you? (I think the translator inserted "pillers" which is probably not the right word you wanted to use?) You sure you don't want someone else to help you out? I'm sure there is someone who knows far more than me. I can move the copyright for you. I have to get back to work right now and probably won't get to this until way later.

Don't know how to say it yea the original code i like but have the css look of the new code you provided with the effect etc. I just don't want it to scroll with the page and me able to put the html inside my footer code. Can this be used instead of the background image http://i657./uu300/EliteList/grad1_zpsc0fa8e6a.png Jeje please!

Of course pillars and columns (which is what I'm used to calling them)are pretty much the same in everyday language. Sorry. Alright, I think I worked out most of it and even got the scroll to work and I don't think it affecting the width. Please tell me what you need changed. Test Site: putteraround10.freeforums.net/ Edit: I went ahead and updated that post with the code currently being used on that test site and indicated where to place it in your wrapper template.

We don't get this level of support anywhere! Anyways i saw you even included the css link code i provided and loved the effect even though now seen it on the computer screen look a bit weird. I'll try to explain it with detail. Everything is fine the way it is except the copyright, can it stay the same as before here: guctest.proboards.com/What i mean can the copyright have its own css and a bit of more width. That would be all I'd say mission complete xD I even tested css background generators and came up with this: testkon3.proboards.com/ background-color: #1a82f7; background: url(images/linear_bg_2.png); background-repeat: repeat-x; background: -webkit-gradient(linear, 0% 0%, 0% 100%, from(#1a82f7), to(#2F2727)); background: -webkit-linear-gradient(top, #2F2727, #1a82f7); background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #2F2727, #1a82f7); background: -ms-linear-gradient(top, #2F2727, #1a82f7); background: -o-linear-gradient(top, #2F2727, #1a82f7);

I thought about using colors instead of images but I had my graphic's program open so just did it there. I found a mistake in what I gave you. Just find this part and add the blue: (You can see that added the gradient to it on my test site.) <div id="my_grad _border" style="clear:left;"> I have it using the same gradient as between the columns (pillars, lol). Is that what you meant? You can also add styles since I have a style tag there. Like if you want to add padding to the top and all around a bit as well as change the color of the test you could do this: <div id="my_grad_border" style=" padding: 6px 1px 1px 1px; font-size:12px; color: #ffffff; clear:left;"> (the first number in the padding is for the top, then right, then bottom, then left.) So you want the copyright line to be wider than the whole of the columns?

Your code support.proboards.com/post/5537302/thread is glitching.. xD.. the 5th pillars are clickable links but the rest aren't... And when i copy thous codes into the new one makes a BIG mess even with the corrections :S Sorry..

I wasn't thinking about the links. Sorry. You know the little switch accounts and switch forums at the bottom right corner. I was trying to not cover that and set the z-index to(negative) -1 forgetting all about the links being moved back a layer too. You'll need to change it back to 1 in the "my_bottom_bar" class.
z-index:-1;
Then you may want to add this to that same class to move that up. margin-bottom: 10px;
Have you made a lot of changes to your wrapper template? If you have, you may have to post your template here so I can test out what is messing up. Obviously, it is working fine on my test site so something must be different with yours.
Do you have plug-ins. (Might want to disable them to see if that makes a difference.) Sorry, this turned out to be long and time consuming.

Sorry, this turned out to be long and time consuming. Yea that fixed a few bugs, and also i apologize it was on my end that messed up the template! :S But o well i remade it and followed the steps and got it back to work, took me a while but got it guctest.proboards.com/Everything is in my global footer just testing it out before i move it to my template. Do me one little thing! I can't get the lines a bit wider. This image was taken on the 1st codes provided and looked nice Red arrows want the lines a bit wider, green arrows want lines a bit thinner. Example: Code i am using: <style type="text/css"> #my_bot_bar { width: 100%; background-color: #444444; border-top: 1px solid #fff; position:relative; bottom: 0px!important; left: 0px; z-index:1; padding:2px; margin-bottom: 10px; } #my_bar_colms{ display:inline-block; width:140px; background-color:#000000; margin:-2px; padding: 18px; vertical-text-align: top; font-size: 10px; text-align:left; } #my_bar_colms a:link{ color:white!important; } #my_bar_titles{ width: 100%; font-size: 14px; font-weight:bold; padding-bottom: 3px; margin-top:-4px; } #my_grad_border{ width:888px; background-image: linear-gradient(bottom, rgb(158,158,158) 0%, rgb(255,255,255) 50%, rgb(158,158,158) 75%); background-image: -o-linear-gradient(bottom, rgb(158,158,158) 0%, rgb(255,255,255) 50%, rgb(158,158,158) 75%); background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(bottom, rgb(158,158,158) 0%, rgb(255,255,255) 50%, rgb(158,158,158) 75%); background-image: -webkit-linear-gradient(bottom, rgb(158,158,158) 0%, rgb(255,255,255) 50%, rgb(158,158,158) 75%); background-image: -ms-linear-gradient(bottom, rgb(158,158,158) 0%, rgb(255,255,255) 50%, rgb(158,158,158) 75%);

I don't know why but when we exchanged an image for the gradient color, the gap got big so I tweaked it down and had to go to a negative value. (was being lazy, not trying to figure out "the why") Try changing the blue to minus 1. You will likely have to play with a couple other things which I made red. If messing with it makes a column/pillar go below then the 898px needs to be wider.
#my_bar_colms{ display:inline-block; width:140px; background-color:#000000; margin:-2px; padding: 18px; vertical-text-align: top; font-size: 10px; text-align:left; } #my_bar_colms a:link{ color:white!important; } #my_bar_titles{ width: 100%; font-size: 14px; font-weight:bold; padding-bottom: 3px; margin-top:-4px; } #my_grad_border{ width:898px;
