Hey Shorty, is there a way to maintain the rank colors, such as admin, mod etc. with the dislike system? Right now all names show up as white instead of their respective rank colors as it is in the like system.

Um this should have 0 effect on your rank colors. If you disable the plugin do the colors come back?

It's only the name color in the dislike text, "NDX dislikes this". His name text is white. When he likes something his name text is red which is his rank color.

Hi Shorty. For some reason I can only get the dislike system to work on about half my forums themes...any ideas?

We've just recently started using both of the Dislike system plugins on our forum and they're working great.

Although I've noticed some things, perhaps you could have a look at them for me.

1. I've got is displaying the number of dislikes on the profile by putting in a "dislikes-tr" element but it only works on the Summary tab.
2. It would be nice if we could turn off the counter in mini-profiles.

ziggy11 I'm sorry. I just now saw your post. I'm going to need you to put the code back in and tell me which themes it won't on and we can't fix it up for you.

@sollace 1. The reason it only works on that page is because that's generally the only page anyone has that info on.

2. You don't want the number to show in the mini-profile at all? If this is the case we can easily fix that up for you.

It's not a huge problem if you don't decide to have it work on the other tabs. I've been able to solve it by adding some code to the profiles template anyway. It would have just been a nice addition.

I can make it work on other tabs. It wouldn't be a difficult change at all. Also you never answered my second question.

Shorty Sorry, I didn't realise. Yes, I don't want it to show at all. It seems out of place since we don't show likes on the mini-profile.

Dislike System:

This plugin adds a dislike button along side the like button. Place the following CSS in your forums CSS by going to Admin Panel > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet and paste the CSS at the bottom. This CSS will give the dislike button an 'active' look when you have a post disliked.

Dislike System Companion:

This plugin will keep track of how many dislikes a user has received since the plugin's installation. I would suggest putting in after <div class="info"> but ultimately it can go anywhere as long as it's before the last </div>. The HTML you need is this:

{if $[user.is_member]}<br />Dislikes: <span id="user-dislikes-number-$[user.id]"></span>{/if}

I have a problem, I have typed the code correctly but i can't see it my profile ?!

Hi Shorty, hope you are doing well. I'm having trouble with your pluggin, I have both installed. The likes are not displaying and the totals do not appear to be calculating correctly. Would you mind taking a look as I have no clue what I'm doing.
