Forum URL: hootyowl.proboards.com/I am using one of Todge's plugins for my smilies, it's his basic one, not the fancy one. Today, my smilies are getting a letter, or character behind them. I thought it was just me, but a friend that is using his fancy plugin also has the extra character. Someone else told me just awhile ago that she saw it on someone else's site as well. I notice someone posted here in Pebble's thread about this and I did too, but deleted my post because the "symptoms" are a bit different. I checked several of my themes and it's the same in all of them. Any ideas? Thanks.

JJ, can you type the text that's supposed to appear in that post within [code] tags or using the button?

I'm not sure what you mean by text in the code or using the C butto, Brian, do you mean the name of the smilie. I was experimenting when I got your tag signal. I don't think it's Todge's plugin at all, it seems to be happening only in the default smilie area where I have swapped the originals and added more of my own. Plus, it is inconsistent. I did find out that the letter or number was the last letter of the particular smilie name that is being affected, but I cannot find the common denominator.

I'm asking what you're typing into the post that's causing those to show up so that you can type it into your post here, preferably inside the box that comes up when clicking the button to ensure it doesn't happen here.

I don't type anything, Brian. I click on the little smilie face in the UBBC buttons and when it opens up, just click on a smilie to get it into the post. Ok, I had to move my post into the Reply area, Brian because a light bulb went on, I use Quick Reply and Proboards does not have the UBBC buttons in there so I did not know what you were talking about. I see the C button now, but haven't the faintest idea what it is or does.

I see. The last character is getting left behind on each one.
I've added that on to the task I made for the other thread about smileys, since they'll probably end up being related to the same change.

Ok, thanks, Brian, maybe it is related to the recent push.
