The rules are simple. You can do one of two things to get it: - Carve or decorate, in a ProBoards theme, a pumpkin or any other type of gourd (an orange balloon counts if you really can't get pumpkins) and post a picture of it. You can decorate with the PB logo, carve a likeness of one of our admins, carve a replica of someone's avatar, carve a meme that originated on this board (emu, anyone?), etc.
Or:
- Put on your Halloween costume and take your photo with you holding up a sign that says something good about ProBoards (yes, the sign can cover your face if you're shy).
Anyone found doctoring a photo using Photoshop (or other editing program) in order to win, instead of actually doing the work, will be disqualified. I'm spending my money on these badges, so no cheaters.
Edit: Contest deadline is Oct 31st. These pumpkin badges are a limited time offer but don't expire once you get one! If you don't feel like doing any of the above, why not buy a badge for yourself and support ProBoards!
Edit:
Examples of what is accepted:
1. A non-ProBoards costume while holding up a sign saying something good about ProBoards. If you don't have paper, find a napkin (toilet paper?) or something else on which to write.
2. A ProBoards themed costume.
3. Your kid or pet in one of the above.
4. A pumpkin/gourd or pumpkin/gourd product decorated in a ProBoards theme.

I guess I need to go out and fine me a pumpkin to carve. I've never actually carved one before, but have always wanted to.

.... too early?hints for early craving: moisture keeps the pumpkin from drying out Vaseline acts as a good way to keep the moisture in during the day time move the pumpkin into a refrigerator or allow to soak in water before putting in fridge "depending on its size" I freeze mine after I crave them "beginning of the month" I have 2 chest freezers for harvesting plants

If you decorate your pumpkin pie with a ProBoards theme, then I'll accept that, too.

Marty SeppyI know here in Michigan pumpkins are pricey depending on the size I always go for the medium-large to extra-large which would cost around $6-13
