I cant add some of the blue because it would possibly mess up someone else's layout (people find a way). but I can get rid of the space before the colon easy enough (caused by margin css). I changed it to just left margin. I had to have a margin in there by default or it let the text get merged into the image in some browsers and I didnt want to have to make people add it into their CSS manually.

this CSS will get you what you need I think after you update to new version

This is wicked! I love it! I wish there was a way for ProBoards status updates to in a non-unique textarea . Or had possibility of comments. But, this is a great replication of a well beloved feature of many softwares. Thank you Wormo!

I think I tried to do status updates from mini-profiles, but it didnt work out. I was going to check with Tim to see what I was doing wrong, but I also have to be sure I dont cross lines when it comes to sending things to the servers

Its almost like a shoutbox snapshot in a way. people put status updates that stay for a while and your box there looks like a shoutbox because of it.

Well it doesn't have default CSS to affect backgrounds and such. If you want it in a styled container, you need to make your own. Then you can put the target inside your container

Edit: Nm - this is going to be harder without a set sidebar set up, and your site looks very different logged out to logged in

What Boy_Wonder put is what I would have suggested. the plugin doesnt force any CSS because all that would do is cause someone who wanted their own CSS to have to employ sneaky tactics to work around it. so it just provides raw html content into your container.
