Just a simple little plugin to allow your members to send group Private Messages to your staff members simply by typing 'staff' into the recipients search box.

I have no idea.. Can you post a link to your forum please, and have a thread that is guest friendly?

I see you are using IE7 too.. I haven't tested it in that browser, but that could possibly be an issue.

Hmm... As far as I can see, the plugin should be working.

And I apologise, I don't need a guest friendly thread, I need to be able to send a PM.. So do you have a test account I can log-in with please?

I have encountered an issue.. I was able to add staff before with no issues... but it's been a few weeks since I have tinkered with it.. Now, I need to add a new staff member to the PMs and it's saying Member not found.. regardless of what I type. and I have made sure I was spelling the name correctly, even tried putting in different user's names, but to no avail. I get the same error message... 'Member not Found'

I also recently went in and uninstalled and reinstalled this plug in... and I am getting the same error.. what else can I try?

I'm afraid that would be a ProBoards issue.

I have no control over the search feature, that's an option I add to the plugin and just use the results it gives.

I'll tag Brian, maybe he can help.

Once our search fixes get pushed out to all forums this should no longer be a problem.

Is there a way this PM could generate a link that would automatically have the 'staff' part filled in?

For example, if I went to Brian's profile and clicked on 'send message' it would automatically start a PM addressed to Brian. I'd like to be able to create a link that would automatically have the PM sent to all staff at once.

Ideally what I would like to have is a custom profile field that I can put in staff profiles that will read "PM staff". When clicked on it'll open up a message that will be pre-propagated with all the staff PMs, as if someone had typed in 'staff' and hit 'yes' to PM all staff.

Otherwise, if that can't work, if the 'Send message' link in staff (admin or Gmod) profiles could be changed to send it to all staff.

Does that make sense?
