I'm trying to place the avatar next to the text as well but I can't figure it out...could you tell me what editing tricks you've used to make that happen ?

If you want the avatar a little larger replace $[thread.created_by_user.avatar_quote]
With
$[thread.created_by_user.avatar_small]

That's useful too but i was looking for the avatar to be placed in the last post column like here:

think2succeed By a little editing, I meant I rewrote the entire code. Also, the avatar bordering was separate. Is what I have on my forum what you want?
