Lunar Eclipse is both my second premade release, and my first true dark theme. It was inspired by a photo I saw while scrolling down my Tumblr dashboard. It features a toggle chatbox, board list remodel, custom hover mini profile, profile remodel, shoutbox remodel, drop down info box, logo and tagline in banner as well was a sticky menu bar.

the guidelines

• 01. There are many credits included in this theme, however the only one that is visible to the public is the one at the bottom of every page. It is non intrusive, so please be kind and do not remove it, or any of the other credits located within the layout templates.
• 02. This theme is not to be used as a base to create your own theme. Of course, you may edit colors and fonts to better suit your site, but no major editing should be done to the overall design of the theme. It is a pre-made theme, and it is intended to be used as is, with potential for minor edits.
• 03. No reposting of this theme for download is allowed by anyone other than myself on designated sites. If you see this theme for download anywhere other than Adoxography, Proboards Support, or the Proboards Theme Library, please notify me immediately.
• 04. Do not simply download my theme if you see a particular code or remodel you like and want to add it to your site. I often release my eligible remodels used in themes separately on Adoxography, and if I have not done so, simply send me a PM and ask about it. I will most likely give you the code if you just ask! Do not steal!
• 05. Lastly, if you would like something edited, need help, or have an issue, post in this thread or shoot me a PM. I am happy to implement minor edits, but I will not completely rewrite a large amount of content to suit your needs. Once again, this is a pre-made theme, so it is highly unlikely I will spend the time to completely redesign something for a single person.

• Drop down info box with pre-made design for a roleplay forum. (can be edited to suit your needs)
• A hover mini profile complete with a 220x350 avatar, mp3 player, application/plotter/wanted ad links, and a 220x120 Image/Gif. This mini profile features two different designs, one for regular members(in character) and one for staff.
• Custom board, profile, info center, thread, conversation and profile remodels created by myself.

plug-ins

• There are no required plug-ins for this theme, but I have added styling for thread descriptions.
• Should you choose to use the Board Description Images by Shrike, the required image size is 350x120.
• Presto Box, because it allows you to make and use pretty hover templates on your site. A tutorial, written by @khristian, can be found here.

SETUP GUIDE

the basics

• There are two avatars for each member when using this theme. The standard Proboards 150x150 avatar image seen around the forum(quotes,following lists,thread and convo lists), which is edited via the Avatar tab in edit profile, and a larger 220x350 image only seen in the mini profile, which is edited via a custom field on the Personal tab of edit profile. In addition, there is a smaller 220x120 image located in the mini profile. This can be a regular image or a gif.
  • To edit the default avatar, go to Admin Home > Themes > Theme Settings > Default Theme Avatar and link/upload a new 150x150 image.
  • To edit the default for the 220x350 image, go to Admin Home > Themes > Layout Templates > Mini Profile, find line 6, and replace http://placehold.it/220x350 with a link your own image.
• The info box can be found by navigating to Admin Home > Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper. The box starts on line 89. All content can be edited there, but the styling for the box is found on the CSS Sheet.
• The logo/banner image is edited via the Visual Editor (Admin Home > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Visual Editor) Go to Forum > Header (Top) > Forum Banner > Banner Image. I have set it to a 300px height but you may choose any height you'd like. The default dimensions are 930x300.
• The background image of the circle that houses the forum name and tagline is edited via the Stylesheet. (Admin Home > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet) Go to line 1593 and replace http://storage.proboards.com/5493532/i/nMU6uwIYAAWfEwOvfmVN.jpg) with your own image. Dimensions: 300x300px.
• For the toggle chatbox, located on line 61 of the Forum Wrapper template, I recommend dimensions of 200x300 for the main, and 200x100 for the form. The heights can be adjusted, but you must also adjust the height of the toggle box if you choose to do so(line 1694 [#togglecbox] in the Style Sheet).

My styles have all been listed alphabetically at the bottom of the stylesheet. If I haven't listed something here, it should be easy enough to find.

the custom fields
This theme was designed for a roleplay forum, so the custom fields pertain to a roleplay related info. However, certain fields only show up for account types(staff and non staff). Please refer to this image for exact settings.

[li]Music:[/li] A direct link to an mp3 file (uploaded to kiwi6.com).

[li]Alias:[/li] The name of the person who plays the character, their alias.

[li]220x120 Image/Gif:[/li] A direct link to the image/gif a user wants to be displayed as the smaller image in their profile.

Custom fields are located at Admin Home > Members > Custom Profile Fields . If you cannot see this, you don't have the permissions to do so and you will need to contact the main admin of the site.

Trying to edit the mini-profiles, and several of the fields are not showing up?
Both accounts that have tried are staff, though the regular members do not have it either.

Figured it out. Great theme, by the way, love it!

This is actually really nice, I especially like the look of the threads and mini-profiles.

One thing I'd suggest, though... is to adjust the z-index of the chatbox. It falls under the shoutbox messages, the "Click for Info" box, and labels on a thread, if you scroll up and down you'll see what I mean. At least its that way in Chrome.

Is it possible to remove the horizontal rule beneath the board name. . . The line that separates the board name from last post information?

Admin Home > Themes > Layout Templates > Board > Board List and remove the <hr> around Line 12 for regular boards and Line 67 for redirect boards.

I've removed the <hr> but the horizontal line is not disappearing. Any other fix?

I want to remove the Age Profile Field but I do not know how. Just because it looks like it's needed, and I don't want my users to think that it is.

Alright, maybe its just me because I'm an idiot when it comes to coding. XD But am I missing the way to change the age? I'm sure its something incredibly simple and I'm just over looking it entirely, but I can't seem to find the section where people should be able to edit that.
