I Margie (: I'm trying to use the Alters plugin by Wormopolis, but I can't seem to get it to work. Presently he's trying to see if he can get it to work, but I was wondering if you'd be able to assist us and help us get it to work? I really love this theme and use it on www.hookedonroleplaying.com and would hate to have to change it, but I need this plugin for my site. There are also several other plugins that don't work with it either that I need.

I just wanted to say I absolutely love the skin and plan on using for a roleplay site I'm currently in the progress of constructing. I have some experience with HTML/CSS and plan on leaving the credits at the bottom of the page, so hopefully I wont have any trouble tweaking it to suit the site. Thanks again for creating such an amazing layout!

For the mini-profiles to work you'll need to add these custom fields. Go to Members > Custom Profile Fields and enter these in EXACTLY how I tell you to.

• 100x100 Image - Text Field - URL (plain text) - Who can edit: Staff with Power
• Character Age - Text Field - Numbers Only

I'm using your theme in my forum but there's a few things that I don't know how to edit. I think I should ask one by one. The mini profile custom fields issue really get into my nerve >.< can't really find what the real problem is although I followed all the original fields u have there; 100x100 Image, Character Age, Sexuality, Application, Plotter and Alias. However, it didn't show up in the mini profile. I can only see 'send me pm' and 'years old'. I filled up the Character Age but still the 'years old' didn't change to '33 years old'. HELP!

Hello! I know you're probably sick of this question being asked, so I do apologize.

I've just started with v5, and nothing of it makes sense. I inserted the chatbox from cbox.ws, and I put it where the image holder for it was placed. But when I save it and check out the site, the image holder is still there, but there's not chatbox. What am I doing wrong? Is there more than one place to enter this information?

I'm also struggling to get the monetary system in play. How do I make it how up in the mini-profile?

Hi, I don't have this theme but have the chalkboard theme which similar in adding the cbox
I believe the cbox code it goes in the forum wrapper as where the image placeholder is for the cbox
You might want try changing the width & height to be sure it fit's in the placeholder

I haven't seen XaviEo  the theme creator online for awhile perhaps anybody else who has the theme installed

My main problem at the moment is the fact that the mini profiles aren't working. I understand the profiles for staff and members are different, but the "character age" is not working. When looking at any member profile, it still says "years old" instead of a number. I realize that if the member had nothing filled in their custom fields that this is what it should say, but then I go to my profile and change it to a number, and then go look at my mini profile and it STILL only says "years old". Reading this thread I found that I should add a dollar sign in front of the variable for character age. When I went to go add it, I was surprised to see it was already there in the code. I don't know why it's not replacing the variable with the number. I have done everything exactly as it was written.

The only thing is I have custom fields for another skin still there in my list, but none of them are titled "Character Age" so it should still work.

EDIT: The Age seems to be working now. But the mini avatars are not showing up on any mini profile except mine. Maybe it just takes a few days like the age? I'm not sure.

Also the banner is exactly the correct size but it still repeats on the right side just a little. I can live with it, but I'd like to fix it if possible.

Want to change the mini-profiles, but I still want the 100x100 image on all of them (all the custom profile fields for regular members and admin). Is there a way to change the members mini-profiles so they have the 100x100 image but also keep the custom profile fields? I don't really need age.  I'm okay with doing away with that in lieu of the 100x100 image for everyone.

The Only remodeling I've done is the music player was added. 

Also, is there a way to make the board posts font bigger so it's easier to read?  Whatever the default is on the board posts makes me squint if you don't mind.

Never mind on the profiles. I figured it out!!  Turned out beautiful.  <3  Hope my alterations are okay:
  Still need help on the bigger font though, just need to know where to find it in the CSS.

If you are an admin profile, it only changes your age if you go into profile > settings and select show birthday.  Other then that, it may be that you set up the custom fields wrong if that first suggestion doesn't work.  The mini-avatars are set up not to be on the members profiles, but I did a remodel of this myself that included it, so I might be able to help you if Margie can't get to it.  As for the banner, you can probably fix that by just making it a little bigger even if it is the correct dimensions.  If that doesn't fix it..come back.

About the hover banner, is there a way for it to show up without having to hover, or are you not wanting that code to be edited? I'm just wondering about this so members won't miss any important information on mobile devices. Sorry if you answered already, but I didn't want to read all eight pages to find out.
