Help please! I installed the Chess Game, checked the board it is to be on, and set up a challenge to another member, but no board showed up. Dummy me has done something wrong. Anyone willing to steer me in the right direction, to get a chess game going on my forum?

did you see a "play chess" button next to "create thread"?

Yes! But the board didn't materialize!

The board I created is a sub-board. Could that be the problem?

weird.. on your forum when it goes to create a new thread, the proboards.data('route').name variable doesnt change to "new thread" like it does on other boards... for some reason it stays as "board"

Tim Camara any reason it would do that?

My collapsible category plug-in stopped working today. I'm going to delete it and re-install it. Not that it has anything to do with the Chess Player plug-in, or the other problem you mentioned.

sub-board MIGHT be the issue.. but I dont think it should be. route should be switching correctly. I found a way around it, but if I push it to library tonight I dont know when it will be accepted.

Do you want me to change the sub board to a regular board?

That red line is mistakenly assigning ("=") rather than comparing ("==")

Good find Eton! so yeah.. that variable is corrupted when other plugins run. update that plugin and try it again.

I meant that I wrote a new version of the plugin that didnt use the route variable, but if I push that new version into the library, it still has to be approved by the librarian.
