I will see what I can do, but as was mentioned previously, adding daily limits to different boards will be tricky.

Ok, let me know, take your time! , sorry for insisting too much on this, I really appreciate your help TodgeCan you please try this plugin. It is a separate plugin as the previous one.. This one ONLY controls the amount of threads a member can create in a specific board. Daily limits have not been added.

It works, but there's an easy bypass for it. If you are quick enough to click the "Create Thread" button before it disappears, you can create an extra thread. If this is possible to solve, I was thinking on a way to reset the amount of threads you can create on a certain posts every day, I could do this manually. So let's say max 10 threads a day, the next day I will have to press a button on that board to reactivate the 10 threads daily, I think something like this is possible, right? But right now, by the way it could be bypassed, wouldn't be so useful , I don't mind being bypassed using the mobile version (since it will says that was published using a mobile, and that would break the rules of my game) I appreciate you worked on this, thank you Todge

Todge it works perfectly! Sorry, you have reached your thread limit on this board! Please return to the thread or click here. Read more: phrpg.freeforums.net/thread/new/2#ixzz3dtBh4igfIs it possible I could change the message?, and regarding to reset it, can you add something like that?, I mean, if it's something manually I don't mind at all And if it's possible not to hide the create thread button, so that way when a user click it, the message will appear? Thank you, this is great!

The biggest problem is clearing the key data, that can not be done automatically, so I'm going to have to find a way of 'hiding' it from the user.

It works. I mean, as I said, if it's something I have to do manually, I don't mind. By the way, is it possible you could add something to filter or to detect which posts bypassed the system?, I'm not sure how to explain it, like something only staff can see, like a message on top of the thread or something that indicates the user published that thread using javascript, that way i could detect people who try to bypass this system, knowing they have created a thread without applying the limit. Todge thank you!

By the way, is it possible you could add something to filter or to detect which posts bypassed the system? I'm afraid not. If it was possible for the code to detect when someone bypassed it, the code has failed. If it could detect a failure then said failure would never have happened. It's a catch 22 situation. If it knows it's failing, it wouldn't be.

If it knows it's failing, it wouldn't be. What I meant was for example, if a person posts and has javascript active (so this script is working for them), something appears on the post, but if this published without javascript actived (the limit is not applying), the message won't appear, and that will let me know they bypassed the system.

Todge it works perfectly, so, regarding to the manually reset, let's say I delete and add the plugin again, would that reset it?, I don't mind doing that , if there's a simplier way to do it, like a click or something in the management plugin, it would be even better. Thank you for all the help, I really appreciate it

Reinstalling the plugin won't reset the keys unless you specifically ask it to. But there is an easier way. In the plugin management area, click on the 'Keys' tab at the top, then locate the correct key, and 'clear' it. Thank you for all the help, I really appreciate it No worries..
