TodgeAny thoughts as to this weird combination is causing this? Offhand, no.. The Member Gallery plugin should only effect the board that is added to the plugin, it should have no effect on any other part of the forum whatsover.. The entire code is contained in the boards' header and footer. I'll have to add these plugins to a test forum and do some experimenting.

In either order, when CE is turned on, Back to Top stops working. I do have them both working together in a test forum, and the order doesn't seem to matter, but none of the other plug-in listed are installed there. So, the mystery deepens... add "simple image upload" to the test forum and see if all three of those are the combo that breaks it. So, I have the same list of plugins working together on the test forum now, in the same order. The only difference is that version number of the simple image upload plugin. I will keep trying to reproduce the offending behavior on the test forum...

Does that ring any bells??

Todge I didnt mean to sound accusatory, I was thinking maybe you knew of some off hand function that might be affecting all images No worries, you didn't come across as accusatory. And no, I don't know of any function that would effect all images. Perhaps it's a PB issue? There is (was?) a strange occurrence with a plugin of mine a little while back, that even though it submitted to the library without a problem, it always downloaded as a corrupt file. Even if I saved it to my PC and tried to install said file onto another forum it wouldn't play ball, even though the plugin works fine on the forum it was written on. So strange things do happen from time to time.

Your Calendar Events plugin seems to have stopped working, and has begun to mess around with my board, in that nothing is working the way it should. Cannot sort on the members page, and the new post button isnt jumping me to the newest post.
Small things, but still messing with the effectiveness of my board.

It keeps deleting the quote even after I edit and paste it back in, so here is what you said: I dont have this functionality in yet, but I WAS able to finally get Ordinal Dates to work. so now you can set up events like First Monday, Second Friday, Last Wednesday, etc... If you want to do the things asked earlier where its always the first and third sunday, it would take setting up two events (Its just too bulky to do a setup with multiple patterns). I only have it working on static events, so as soon as I get it working for key events I will release v1.4.0 Also would anyone find it beneficial to have a plugin for expansion of the static events? ---------------------------------------------------- Yes! That would be extremely beneficial for our forum particularly, if you need feedback. Our members often like to hold events on a second Saturday or whatever, but it would have to currently be manually added for that to work instead of taking advantage of the static events. Minor issue as well - I added a static event in the Plugin Settings, set for monthly and starting in June. On the calendar, June was the only month it displayed in. When I added it at the calendar in key events instead it did display on each month thereafter. I just thought this was interesting, as all of the options were filled out the same. That being said, THANK YOU SO MUCH for creating this! We have sorely missed the old calendar ability of adding events without a link to a thread. *fistbump*

I have ordinal events working as a plugin setting, but not a key stored one. I would liek to know more about the event you said didnt re-occur. can you tell me everything you selected so I can try and recreate that?
What about the idea of having a simple plugin that's only purpose was to provide more storage for static events? should it also have another super key attached for storing events?

Ack I am so sorry I didn't follow through and answer your question. The other static events seem to be working great now, including the one I had been trying to add in my original post. *shrug* The reason for my return is that the same event that I originally had issues with and added it via the calendar key events has now gone haywire, starting in October 2015. The event is for the 25th of each month, and it has been adding the event over and over to the one day (5 of them): horsesforever.proboards.com/calendar/10/25/2015If you skip ahead to 2016, there are even more additions (49 of them in December 2016): horsesforever.proboards.com/calendar/12/25/2016And when I try to delete them individually, this error pops up: Plugin key length exceeded. (Limit: 32000 bytes)
Super Forum Key: Wormo_calendar_events
Error Code: 16 Key: Wormo_calendar_events Object Id: undefined All of the options filled in the key event were: Event Title
25 - Monthly HFNCHA Show
Title Color
Event Description
Start Date
2015-11-25
Event Time
Re-occuring event
Span of Days
1
Optional Icon
Optional Thread Title
2015 HFNCHA Show Schedule
Optional Thread Link
Optional Post Link
http://horsesforever.proboards.com/thread/37877/2015-hfncha-show-schedule
But I can still add events to the calendar via the key events. All other events are functioning correctly, and this one particular event seems to be the only one affected. Static events are functioning fine as well. Ah, another issue right after I posted this. I need to move an event from Nov. 5 to Oct. 30, and it saved like normal after the modification but did not actually save. It also gave me the same error as above when I tried to delete it. I also went to add another event and hitting the forward button on the month (from Sept.) gave me October 1899 LOL. I know my key storage is 93% full now (the above issue did not help with storage) so maybe that has something to do with that. Though our forum is using 2/40 plugins, 0/10 keys, 1/2 super keys. It seems like it should be fine lol.

There was a change a while back that fixed a bug in how keys stored data. If the key was already storing more then it should, it was breaking the plugin. If you delete a few of the older events, it should allow you to create a new or modify existing. I need to put in the size check on the key writing part of it though since I guess what I had isn't being caught. Not sure how you made it this far out with that bug fix affecting keys being implemented like a year ago.
It might be useful to add in something that lets you mass edit the key values without resorting to just emptying it

That's the thing, our key wasn't full at all. We're prepping for the 2016 events, and when I started adding them I noticed that the one event was duplicating itself and the key percentage was going up. To clarify as well, it would not let me delete the event and gave me the key too full error, but at that point in time I hadn't really used the calendar much. I have it set in the plugin to auto-delete older events after 30 days. Otherwise for the rest of 2015 we were using the default Proboards calendar in a thread to schedule events. I'll have to snoop around and see if there's the option in the default to dump old events as well, would that help with the plugin's issue?
Was the bug fix included in the current version available for install? I installed it on our forum June 2015.
Edit: It looks like the default calendar doesn't have an option to auto-delete events, dang.
Edit again: Was the option for adding events like the first Saturday of each month in the static section of the plugin ever implemented?
