v1.2.0 submitted to library
added time option to events. uses 24 hour format: HH:MM sorts events in each day by time added post id option to events to link directly to a post. if you also include a thread id, will link to post in full thread added option to make info center events link to thread/post if part of event
I dont have events sorted by time in the info center because I cant fugure out a good way to make it work yet.
also still planning on doing occurance in less then yearly. like maybe have it where you can input number of days or just choose from a drop down. the difficulty lies in making loops that cover all the instances since I have to also cover the preview calendars on the side. I might have to make weekly the smallest re-occurance available.
also looking at making a standalone calendar that can allow you to put a calendar anywhere you have a target element, however it wont be able to include normal calendar events seen on the regular calendar (the default events linked to threads and such)

Looking forward to test and add to my board. Thousands of thanks Wormo, brilliant
Regarding the standalone calendar, my specific need is a small panel (e.g. div) showing TODAY (list of today events). Do not need any date navigation on this standalone actually. However, regarding your comment "it wont be able to include normal calendar events seen on the regular calendar", I understand you mean it would be a separated calendar, i.e. no sharing data which each other... then it would be too expensive in terms of maintenance. I do not think I can afford to add it in that case. I think I will rely only on the main calendar then. It sounds like plugins run in a kind of sandbox that prevents them to share data with each other?

No no I mean it can't get events added to the calendar via the default method. As in the method you use if you don't have the plugin.

so, in practice, supposing the admin uses both, he must input the events twice, one time for each calendar, right? One calendar does not see the data from the other calendar.
I think I understood you previously (No sure?)

The plugin cannot see the events added by the default system. that is why normal calendar events dont appear in the info center because the plugin cant access them.
so what I am getting at, is IF you also make default calendar events, and want to use the targetted calendar, they wont show. only plugin/key stored events will show on it

On the other hand I tested the new version and it seems to be working fine. Thank you very much.

Oh it wont be standalone. I was going to make it an option in this one. check a box in the settings and then put the target on your board somewhere and it creates a faux calendar with all the stored events.

And this one cannot serve both at the same time instead one OR the other? some comment about this one: * does not look to be properly ordering* 12:00 PM should be 00:00 AM instead? * when I edit to modify the record at 3:30 PM it shows 'undefined' EventTime in the edition screen. I initially filled in as 15:30.

I dont understand the first question.
* well actually it is sorting, but for some reason its now sorting alphanumerically instead of by number, so I have to figure out what I messed up * 00:00 should be converting to 12 AM, and I swear I had all that displaying correctly at one point * even if you modify the time it needs to stay 24hr format

Yep, the first question I misunderstood you. You said 'an option', I understood 'a choice' (OR). Ignore my first question then (>> And this one cannot serve both at the same time instead one OR the other?<<<). I updated, you can see here: www.ponzinomics.org/calendar/9/8/2014* it translates 00:00 as 12PM, I think is 00:00AM to consider it as starting time of event rather than ending time. Will be more difficult for sorting with 12 and with PM actually * First should be AMs and after PMs (I think you are swapping AM for PM)

no I half-heartedly wrote the line to put AM or PM and was checking for 1 AM to 11 AM instead of 0 AM to 11 AM. I fixed that.

I tested a bunch of times and they all displayed and sorted correctly. I didnt have as many as you did, but it should work. also if an event doesnt have a time associated with it, it assumes its an all day thing and puts it at the top of the list.

Hi, it was working fine, but I have just added an event and, just after, all events in the calendar looks to be gone. Calendar is totally cleared.
Any idea?
