I am working on something to check key size before adding an event to make sure this doesnt happen again. if you absolutely need more events, Im going to have to write up an extension plugin like alters has

the key holds 64k of data. you are currently sitting at 63k. in the dialog that pops up to create an event, do you think I should have it display how full the key is?

Maybe not how full is but what is the remaining space so people can understand? If you say "you have 1k left for this key" people gets it. If you say "you have 63k taken"... I think is unclear.... My guess

But, yes, is helpful to prevent surprises I think

Did you tell before that it was possible to set an expiration time when creating an event? If so, before embarking you in a whole new plugin, let me try if I can manage with the time span of about 5 weeks (aprox. 64k) for a while and delay the plugin for later in the project...

I will have also to do some CSS on the calendar but this is on my side.... step by step

all of the events are put back in. Tim might have had to delete a couple in order to make it fit. there was a missing bracket that was causing the key error. so I manually pushed them all back.

if an event isnt set to reoccur, it should purge at the number of days you have set in the plugin settings (or 30 if left blank) past the event date.

Understood. I have set 20 days for expiration now to try. So, it looks done. Let me evaluate if I will need a bigger span, but I think I can work for a while. The problem will be when I get too much future events... but it can be delayed.
