Indeed. I couldn't set up your plug in how I wanted it to look without the sidebar redux. Plus as you can tell, its a football thing. When new season starts we want to put scores in that sidebar aswell. But for now I have let go of that idea. I first want the current problem to be fixed. So You tell me maybe I need to uninstall the redux and only use your plug in?

No, no need to un-install the redux plugin, I just need to know to try and fix your issue..

That second link seems to work indeed. The lay out is how I want it that is for sure. I will test more right now and let you know the outcome.

just pushed some posts over mobile and Owen Wilson WOW. You are a genius! I think, no I know for a fact you just singlehandedly fixed every single bug in my forum with that  (they were all linked to my members wanting to stay in mobile version) But this ... This is brilliant. I have all the usability of desktop on desktop with a userfriendly mobile interface on mobile whilst stil having enough functionality. You made me a very happy admin. Thank you soooo much! You are fantastic.

It's me again Yeah, I'm still happy with the result. My members are whiney little &@#/! though First off all, the plug in works. No complaints there. I have a few users who are not happy they can't use the mobile version anymore so I'm trying to accomodate them. Their main concern now is that the font is to small. Again, this really has nothing to do with your plug in. Bare with me I will explain why I am contacting you again.

You managed to update the plug in by recognising what is desktop and what is handheld. For the handheld I want to do some extra css, removing some columns with countnumbers and make the font bigger. Of course I only want this to be for the handheld, on Desktop everything stays the same. That lay out is perfect as it is.

So what is my problem. I went through pages and pages of code and I'm thinking I have to do a @ media (add specs) but that @ media isn't recognised. Seeying as you did a marvelous job making a destinction between handheld and desktop I was wondering under what you did it. @ media just doesn't do a thing so I'm guessing you used another term to do so. 

If I have it all wrong, or if I'm not making sense, let me know. I'm just very stuck. To explain what I want to achieve, belowe picture. The comumns in the red circle have to disapear and the "last post" needs to be wider. Then the remaining colomns can have a larger font and everything is very readable on a handheld. Again, I understand that this has nothing to do with the plug in. That one works very nicely right now.

The height is set to 200px and seems to be working fine. 
If you just want it on the main page only use the container id and edit that to your theme only on the main page instead of a global header/footer
"Container ID if you'd like the recently displayed threads to be listed in a specific place, add a cell to your forum with a unique ID and add that ID here. The Sidebar will then be displayed there. Adding a <div> to the header or footer of your forum, for instance, you can then have the Recent Threads list displayed at the top or bottom of your forum instead"
Why do you want it to have a scroll bar? If you have 5 recent it will only store 5 in the information. If it's at 10 then it will store the next 10. It doesn't record more than it's allowed to show so it may take some time for the other 5 to fill up depending on how active your forum is.

I am using the extra cell in the thread sidebar. I am trying to embed an RSS Feed code. But it just shows the code and doesn't embed the RSS Feed. Is there away I can fix this issue or get it to work with RSS FEED

Hi there, I have recently started using the plugin and I pretty much love it because it's almost everything I want.  My only problems are that sometimes a thread disappears from the list even though there are recent posts, or when a new thread is created it sometimes does not show up in the list.  Only other thing is some of the times also seem to be off sometimes.  I am using it with the Sidebar Redux plugin.  Apologies if these issues have already been discussed, but there are over 100 pages in this thread and I'm new here...

Hi stevejb , there are a couple of reasons why posts or threads may not appear in the list..

Plugins do not currently work while using a mobile device, so if a post or thread is made by a user using a mobile device, that thread or post will not be added to the list.

The other reason an entry can be omitted is if there are more than one user posting at the same time. Key data can only be read once when the page is first loaded, so if Member A goes to reply to a post, but before they submit their post Member B starts to write a reply.. Member A will submit their post, and their post will be added to the key used by the plugin, but Member B's browser still contains hte key before Member A posted, so when they submit their post, the key will e updated again, but Member A's post will not be included.

Unfortunately, there is currently no way around either scenario. When PB release V6 of their software, plugins will work on mobile devices, so that should fix one problem, but the problem with overwriting data, unless PB change how keys work, that issue will remain.

You mentioned that sometimes the list seems to be off, could you elaborate please? If I can find the cause I'll try to fix it, but I need to know exactly what the problem is.

Thanks Todge that does explain some of the behaviour. I am using [T] [W] in the Recent Threads settings section in case that helps. I assume the mobile issue is also the cause of the problem where the thread IS in the list but just not updated with the time of the actual last post?

The other issue with the times being off is this. In my thread list just now it says the top thread and '39 minutes ago'. Underneath the Last Post column in the main board page it says the same thread was 33 minutes ago which is the same as the Last Updated in the bottom Forum Information section. So it seems the time is off by several minutes in this case. The previous post in the thread is some 4 hours older so I don't think it is related to the mobile issue, as there has only been that one post in that thread in the last 4 hours.
