Hi Todge, I'm not sure if you are still providing support for this Plugin. However, I've installed it on my forum, and also bought a new super key, but it is completely blank? I've looked through the posts in this thread and can't find any similar issues. My forum: forum.bubblegumdancer.com/Is there something obvious I have missed? Thank you, I appreciate your help and the work you do here Mitch

I do believe that it'll only show posts that are done after the plugin is installed and activated.
Also, keep in mind that plugins don't work on mobile devices unless they are using desktop view.

Hello Todge. I've made a few changes to my forum and I seem to have deleted something somewhere and can't figure out where I've gone wrong. I'd like the 'Recent Threads' title (the one on the same line as the cog) to be on a black bar with white text. I'd also like the ability to change the color bar to red to see if I like it. Many thanks.

Hi, Add this to the plugins' CSS Styling option.. #recent-threads-title { background-color: #000000; } #recent-threads-title h2 { color: #ffffff; } If you want to change the color of the title bar to red, simply change the #000000 to red.

That's great Todge, thank you. I'd like to make the recents thread bar the same thickness as the left and right sidebars and also the same height, if that makes sense. Also, what can I do to stop the forum jumping/flashing everytime I refresh?
Thank you.

Sorry if this was answered before, just couldn't find it. If there a way to undo removing a thread? I have removed a thread / poster by mistake (a few posters on the same thread even). I didn't even know what I had done until it was too late. Now they never show up. I have updated the plugin (I was on 0.2.5 or something like that) to the latest version. The error was still there. I uninstalled and reinstalled fresh and the problem is still there. It is mostly this thread that I managed to mangle but I think there might be one or two more that this has happened to. Is there a setting for the plugin I can fix or a setting for the site? Site: whitesandsweyr.proboards.com/PluginRecent Activity

Sorry, no. Once a thread has been removed from the list, the only way to make it re-appear is to post in it.

What is really odd was I had removed the by An’zell about 5 posts ago. Haven’t removed any thread since then. G’age post well after I did that oops and the newest poster is An’zell. There are a couple of ways that key data can be overwritten, or not written at all. Firstly, plugins do not currently work on mobile devices, unless they are set to desktop mode, so if any of your members create a post using their phone or tablet, their post may not be included in the RUTs list. Another thing that can cause problems is caused by the way keys work. Put simply, a keys are loaded when a page is openned, and in the case of the Recently Updated Threads plugin, the key is updated when the post is submitted. So if member A starts their post at 12:00 and member B starts their post at 12:05. If Member A completes their post before Member B, when they post the key will be updated with their post details and will be displayed as expected, BUT, according to the key data Member B has, Member A's post does not exist, so when they submit their finished post, the key will by updated again, but with the data Member B has, essentially deleting Member A's post. Unfortunately, that means that the busier a forum is, the more likely data will be lost, but it is usually fairly rare.

I'll watch for that thread to update on the list the next time I see Kira or An'zell have posted. Please try version 0.4.6
I have added an option so you can choose whether to have the plugin take you to last post of a thread instead of the most recent. Works great! You are awesome!! I spoke too soon!!!! So, an old plugin conflict has again reared it's ugly head. Basically none of the threads were updating on the RUTS and after some lengthy troubleshooting I finally remembered a similar previous issue. Thank you.. Have you set the key permissions correctly? Make sure both read and write is set to 'Everyone'. Yep. Always have them set that way. I now know what the problem is and it wasn't the key permissions. I have a lot of plugins on my site(about 70), so I started troubleshooting possible compatibility issues. After a tedious process, I found the conflict was with Hashtag in Posts v1.2.0 by Wormopolis When I disabled it, the RUTS worked fine, when I re-enabled it, it immediately started to malfunction again. I tried moving HiP above the RUTS in the plugin list, not really expecting it to make a difference, and...it did. So far, with Hashtag in Posts above the RUTS, both are working as they should! Thanks for the help!!! Once I knew what the problem was, thankfully it appears to be an easy fix. Thanks again, both for the modification/feature and all the help, Todge I switched off Wormo's plugin and the RUTS started updating its thread list...Only this time it doesn't matter where I move the RUTS to, if Wormo's HiP plugin is active, RUTS doesn't update its list.
Also, possibly unrelated issue, but bumping from either inside the thread or from the thread list has no effect. I even tried that on a test forum with just RUTS active and nothing happens.

adminabp, can you please try Version 0.4.7It should now play nicely with the Hashtag Plugin, and the bump function has been restored.

Bumping now works great from inside a thread, but the option to bump on the threadlist is now totally gone from the action drop down when RUTS is enabled. without RUTS enabled
recycle bump enable falling with RUTS enabled recycle enable falling

If you were to select several threads across several pages, the bump function would fail in the RUTs plugin, so to stop that happening, the bump function is removed in the board listing page. I can re-enable it if you like, but I'd only be able to add threads on the current page that you bump to the RUTs list.
