How would this plugin work with the sidebar redux plugin? Is there a code that needs to be inputted with the sidebar redux plugin for it to work?

It works great with the Sidebar Redux. I have it incorporated into mine. Instructions on how to place it within the sidebar are on Todge's first post in this thread. You can see it on my board here.

I was wondering if there was a way to have both created and updated threads listed in the Recently Updated Threads. Also is there a way to move it? Mine is at the bottom of my forum and I'd like it in the middle. Here's my board: artistic-designs.proboards.com/Another thing, the threads aren't showing up.

I believe created by threads are included in this plug in. And as Todge has said in his first post ~ "Please be aware that initially there will be no threads listed, any newly updated threads will only appear in the list as they are updated/created AFTER this plugin is activated." So that's the reason it's not showing anything yet.
Use the black up/down arrows next to each container to reorder the position of the containers. Just "grab" onto the arrow to move the container up or down.

That's normal, mackenzieh. It has to populate first. Once members start posting, it will slowly begin to fill. Mine was empty, too, when it was first enabled. Once activity starts, there will be threads showing up in the container.
To move it into your sidebar redux, be sure to give the cell an ID name in Todge's plugin in the "settings" tab where it says, "If you wish to move the sidebar into your own containing cell, add the ID of that cell below."
Then go to the Sidebar Redux plugin and put that same ID name that you gave Todge's plugin, where it says "ID". Then put this
<div id="your ID cell name here"></div> in the content box. Then use the arrows to move the container up or down to place it in the order you want it to appear in the sidebar.

I will try out the steps. Another thing is the container on the sidebar threads plug in. It looks weird when I post it under a sidebar on the left.. it won't allow to choose the styles of the container. Also I think there should be an option in the dropdown where it says "Would you like to display recently updated threads, or only recently CREATED threads?", for "both" recent updated threads and recently created threads.

You're welcome.
When you place it in Brian's sidebar, you can choose ~ Style 1 (Regular container) Style 2 (No title bar, inner border color)
Granted, the first option (which I use) does place Todge's container that has a title box into Brian's that also provides one. But I worked around that. I chose that option because it picks up the additional CSS for all of my themes that I coded for each individual cell and that Todge's container wouldn't automatically pick up. It does however pick up all of the CSS that isn't individually put in for each container. I have too many themes to go back and insert that individual CSS for this container, so that option works great for me.
As far as a created by vs. recent thread option, that's up to Todge. I can't speak for most, but for our board, we want to see all of the currently active threads. It doesn't matter to us if it's an older thread being replied to or one that is newly created. We just want to see all recent activity.
I'll tag Todge. He can address that issue.

For some reason I still get this: artistic-designs.proboards.com/ my recent threads is at the bottom of the side bar and I have an empty container. I tried moving the threads side bar in the sidebar redux plugin but that was a no go. Also do you have to add it to boards for it to work or is that just another option?

It will start to populate once posting begins. With every change you're making, it disrupts that "flow". Once you have it in the order you want it, just leave it there and let it start assembling the information it needs to work.
Hover over the arrow. When it's "grabbed", you can move any container up and down. I've included a screenshot.
FYI ~ once it begins to populate, it won't look exactly like mine. I've added additional CSS to Todge's plugin to customize it a bit more.

I've tried moving it but it's still at the bottom.

Are you grabbing that arrow and moving it? Once grapped, you move the container up or down. You physically see the boxes move. If it's not moving, you've not grabbed it. The minute it's grabbed it follows the mouse movement.
And if you're doing that after you drop it into it's new location, and it's still at the bottom, are you remembering to hit "save changes"?

In my admin panel with the sidebar redux, I have the "Recent Threads" panel above my twitter feed but when I save changes and view the board, the recent threads is still at the bottom below the "Credits" bar. Could it be that it's missing a title? artistic-designs.proboards.com/

I don't see a Twitter Feed container. I see Welcome, Staff, Shoutbox, ADNews Updates, Affiliates, Credits, Recent Threads.
Where is the Twitter Feed in the SideBar that it should be above?
