Possibly. It depends on how Eton's plugin works.
I'll take a look when I get my PC and will let you know then.

Love the plugin very useful. Downloaded it the other night.
Now I have gone through most of this thread and I haven't seen any mention of this so I figured I would have. Is it possible to make it so when you use the "THREAD USER" option that the Username take on the colour of the member group they are in?

It was meant to, and I swear it did while I was writing it, but at some point it stopped doing that and I never did find out the reason why. I'll take another look at that too.

Is it possible to make it so when you use the "THREAD USER" option that the Username take on the colour of the member group they are in? The Styled Member Names plugin will work in the Sidebar for that, but only on "some pages". You can see the issues I had with that and also the Images in Thread Title plugin working with the Sidebar in this post: support.proboards.com/post/6002966/threadWe ultimately got the Images in Thread Title working in the Sidebar, I gave up on getting the Styled Member Names to fully work everywhere. What was weird was I managed to get both working on an HTML test site just by copying bits of code from pages that were working to pages that weren't, as I illustrated in that post, which suggests, at least to a layman like me, that there is an error with the Sidebar code on some pages, or at least a difference.

Would it be possible to add the user's avatars to the recently updated threads sidebar?

I'm afraid not, sorry.
That would mean having to rewrite the way the format in which the key data is stored, which would mean any people upgrading from a previous version would have to reset the key, losing all the previously stored threads.
Also, image urls can be quite long, so storage could end up being an issue too.

I'm trying to use the text overflow (aka truncating as it's called in the plugin)...
^ Figured it out... such silly me xP
*Edit: Also came across another issue here... A member posted on a thread and it didn't update the 'Recently Updated Threads' list... but when I replied to them it did. Why isn't it showing regular member posts? I have the 'read' & 'write' set to everyone, and the display option to 'All Updated Threads'.
Curious... is there any chance in a future update you could make the text overflow work on a pixel width instead of by character count in the title of the thread? It would look a lot neater if, regardless of username length, all the list entries cut off at the edges of the table instead of the current mismatching.
Also, any considerations toward putting in the date that the things were updated?

Also, any considerations toward putting in the date that the things were updated? Why some posts may not be included is explained in this post. I already have a version when the thread titles are truncated at a set length rather than character count, but there is a slight issue with that version too, if you have threads titles that are much shorter than your chosen length you get an overly large space between the title and the rest of the text. If you'd still like to try it let me know. Post dates will not be added as it will mess up the format of the key data, meaning anyone updating from a previous version would have to clear the key data and so loose their previos list.

Mmm interesting. Not sure why this instance would do that though since no one else was even on at the time except the person who posted and myself idling. I posted a good 20 minutes after them, refreshed pages a few times but it just didn't register. At least it isn't some silly thing I did that made it so only admins' posts show up. Will keep an eye on it. Hopefully doesn't happen too often as you described.
I'll probably pass on the other version. The more I think about it the less I like any ideas on possible aesthetic improvements. The area is just so small that trying to fit things onto a single line would be silly. Wouldn't mind some more space in-between list elements though, so then when items did wrap onto a second line there was a visual break between one element and another.
Is a neat plugin and something I've seen on JCink and Forumotion sites and have wanted, so yay

Hey, I've been wondering a few things about this plugin, and I was wondering if they have been addressed. First of all, is there any way to get this plugin working with colorsmear? Right now it doesn't display any of the smears on the home page, but once you view an individual thread it does. In addition, is there any way to combat if a thread is deleted it is deleted from the sidebar? This also applies to moved threads and name changes.
Thanks!

So it's continuing to happen. Anyone who is not me that posts does not get their posts added into the recently updated list. What terrible thing have I done? XD It happens every time too; only my posts show up in the Recently Updated list. Not even the admin's posts show. Forum*Update: The admin posted in several threads. When I first logged in the Recently Updated list didn't show anything. I went into a board and 1 out of all the new posts showed up on the list.

Do you have the plugin enabled?

Yes and it's visible to guests. In the sidebar, 3rd one down. Unfortunately it seems the admin deleted the two boards which held the example that showed the recent post by a member that wasn't showing... as well as the post by the admin themselves that didn't show up. It was in the plugins list of boards to include so isn't that I had the wrong setting there.
I did some guest post tests and they worked. Perhaps it was just a fluke that this happened three times in a row?
