transoxiana, try targeting this: And type $[inherit] as the tooltip text (since they already have titles).

Brian Thank you for your quick response! And so far, so good. It works on the first custom box (the one that says 'Tiltales'), but on the other hand it took the titles completely away from the remaining custom boxes

BrianHmm I've been trying to target my awards in Todge's awards plugin but for some reason styled tooltips don't appear in the pop-up of the awards. It does in the profile though. I've tried .awdDiv img, img#A0, img#A1, img#A2, img#A3, img#A4, img#A5, img#A6, img#A7, img#A8, img#A9 to no avail. T__T Not sure if it's related to this plugin or the Awards one. After writing this I'm thinking it might the Awards...

Mad Madison, I require a forum URL since I can't tell which of the several forums tied to your global account you're having this issue on.

Mad Madison , I require a forum URL since I can't tell which of the several forums tied to your global account you're having this issue on. My plugin can't target the elements in the dialog that appears after clicking the Achievements button because they don't exist on the page when it first loads. My plugin only runs when the page first loads and when you use the pagination in the action bar. This is a pretty easy thing to fix, though. In Plugins > Build > Forum Tooltips click on the Components tab and find this line: Add a couple new lines before it and place this on them: This will tell the plugin to run the script that adds the tooltips whenever the Achievements button in any post is clicked. You'll also need to add this to your theme's style sheet to make the tooltip have layering priority over the dialog:

Kami suggested creating a post here since I was having issues with the plugin working with another plugin you included in the addons. Brian , I created a threat in support here regarding the PBN bar, jumping. I developed an issue with the plugin targeting Images. It simply wasn't working. I unchecked the Images in the plugin and my issue with the PBN bar stopped. The only other thing I use the plugin for is Attachment(images) so I don't understand why it didn't work or why it caused the other issue. Any help would be appreciated.

The Images and Attachments options in the plugin settings work very differently from one another. Images finds any image that has a title attribute (text that shows when you hover over it) and turns that text into a tooltip. Attachments finds any attachments on the current page and loads the full image in a tooltip when you hover over it. If you just want the full version of attachments leave the Images option unchecked. If I'm being perfectly honest I'd actually recommend against ever having the Images option checked because of how overzealous it is.

Ah, and here I was hoping the image option allowed images to be hoverable. I suppose I could just change the setting in the other plugin so the image is a bit larger. overzealous... like the plugin's creator? Thank you for explaining. I'll stick with just using it for attachments since that part plays nicely. (like you recommended)
