Sweet scurrilous scripts! I notice the code base for the plugin is up to 6,000 lines now. That's hardcore. It's still missing that "Make me a Cappuccino" button I asked you for, though. Hey thanks. The new addons for it are going to be twice as hardcore. I probably could condense it some. But It's unneeded effort at the moment figuring I'm busy.

Is there any way to disable grooming, happiness and toys, and perhaps to open trades between users rather than give away the animal to a specific user?
Would it be possible for there to be some kind of battle system too? With custom attacks and images and the like?
What about a way to customize the animal, including specific colors and accessories?
Breeding?
Sorry for all the questions. I'm simply exploring my current options rather than requesting a plugin until I know for sure that I'm going to need to request one.

Specifically, users should be able to insert 3D models from a range of commercial 3D packages (3DS, Maya, Lightwave, Z-Brush, etc.) into the simulation. Ideally the plugin would also take 2D images, infer depth information for any actors, and convert them into 3D models, possibly with a user-supervised post-processing step to correct any errors in depth inference.
- actors should be able to make noises. Ideally, every animal and "toy" present would have an associated library of sounds (importable from file or by link) as well as the ability to map these sounds to specific events or combinations of events via a drag and drop GUI. For example, a user should be able to access the "Sounds" GUI, visit the "Coordinated Events" tab, create a new event (thus entering the event modification GUI), drag a horse into the "Trigger" panel, specify "This Animal and All of Identical Species", drag a ball into the Trigger panel, specify "This Toy Only", add a new condition (thus entering the condition modification GUI), selecting the horse and the ball, selecting "Limited Proximity", using the slider to adjust the proximity indicators around the two actors to 200 pixels, exiting out of the condition GUI, selecting the ball, selecting "Click" on the multi-list of "Trigger Events", dragging the desired sound effect over from the "Sound Effects Library" panel into the "Actions" panel, closing the events GUI, and finally closing the sounds GUI.
This way, the simulation can be configured in a matter of seconds so that clicking on that specific ball will play a special "horse chewing on ball" sound effect whenever the ball is clicked and is within 200 pixels of any horse.
- users should be able to facilitate a wide range of animal-to-animal and animal-to-object interactions. At first it would be limited to breeding, predation, flocking, scattering, following, allowing one actor to "ride" another actor, and allowing two actors to combine into a third actor (for example, being able to combine a dog and a cape into "superdog"). Obviously this would expand to a more complete and comprehensive set of interactions later.
- users should be able to type in the name of an animal/object and have it appear in the simulator with a default set of behaviours, rules, sounds, graphics, and properties, similar to the game "Scribblenauts Unlimited"
Hopefully you'll agree with me that this list isn't overly ambitious. These features really do have to be present in a bare minimum implementation of an animal keeping simulation.
A 3-to-6 month development timeframe is fair and reasonable.

I'm not so much saying to automate it yourself, as I'm an artist and I can draw the different combinations. I just simply want them to pick from different options for that particular pet for to appear (I would have already made it beforehand). As for equipping, I meant the same way. I'd draw the item in the appropriate place and then they just click to equip it, and thus the animal's picture automatically switches out with the item that's drawn.

If you want to make a pet with different colors. Specify 4 animals with the same species with different images. As for equipping you mean to switch the image of an already active animal. Such images/states of equipping would have to be stored somewhere. Too messy.

I have a suggestion for a feature for this-
The ability to separate animals/ toys into different groups/categories. in the store/ animal adoption area. (sort of like how the monetary system has the different categories for items you can sell.
I plan to add alot of animals/toys to the plugin and I dont want them to just have a wall of pictures...so (Collapsible) Categories if possible would be nice ^^
Another feature that would be nice is if you could merge the monetary shop and animal keeper...so that the items you buy in the stores would be able to to be sent/used there too.
But i know nothing about coding...so I dont know how hard that would be. Just ideas ^^

I also seem to be having issues with the Plugin...
It doesnt seem to save enough...I adopted more pets but it wont let me place them, use them or keep them very long... they dissapear from my adopted animals after a couple minutes and anytime I try to look at them in my "Adopted animals" menu it shows me just my first adopted cat...
Also when placing images on the "Field" They will sometimes appear and allow me to move them- but then once I click to set them down- they will also dissapear and (most of the time) go back into my inventory... I've had some that have just dissapeared completely from my inventory... It seems to maybe have a limit to how many things you can put on your field? (I currently have 5 items and one cat on my field and it doesnt seem to let me place anything else)
I understand this is still a relatively new Plugin- So Im just giving you info on things that are going wrong with it.

Sounds like you have too much crap and you filled up your key. There is a space limitation.
