Like a journal where you can keep track of adopting animals, age, etc.

Finished Viewing animals section with a sortable list by animal, name, and nickname
Added more data structures to the key including adoption date
Next: work out aging system
I will probably make it into a rounded to hundredths place years old
Ex: 1.33 Years old.
or 0.1 years old.
Second: I will make a separate codeblock that will record birthdays and alerts
Third: Work out viewing on other users pages
Fourth: Gifting Page
Fifth: Beta Release (This should allow bug tests regarding the ledger before I start working on the visual part with the backgrounds etc.
Just to let you know where I'm at, Next Wednesday I'll probably pick this up for a full day again. Until then I may or may not have time. So I'll keep you posted on what will certainly be one of the best Plugins ever

Aging System is finished. Runs completely off of server time.
Now on birthdays and alerts, what kind of alert do you want?
Your -Carrot Zombie- -Bob- is now -1- year(s) old.
I suppose I will list all of the birthdays that haven't been seen at once. And when you hit okay, it will shift the old Alert Block and Push the new one now marked viewed.
What other alerts are there other than birthdays?

Which means I'm halfway done with the gifting feature.

Errmm.. death, if you plan on doing that still. Close to death. Increase in any levels--stats, happiness, anything you've added. When they're gifted with something like food or a toy from another member.

Death won't make it into the pre-release
Might not make it into the first release either.
Levels Stats, Happiness, Etc. will be made an extension plugin that will use a separate key to store data.
I don't think i'm going to let animals (hold) items. Food and toy gifts will be done through a separate section.
Good input on the alerts. I will work on that later.

Just worked out the bugs with having no animals/releasing/buying with 0 animals
Also fixed the viewing other user accounts.

OMG! I haven't been on in some time so I just got all those tags and responses. But this is amazing Pastuleo! I'm so glad someone is finally making a Pet Plugin!
I will definitely be keeping tabs on this.

Well Currently I am 90% done with the alerts idea. It will mark changes in age by years. And the user will click a button that will run it next in either 10 minutes, 2 hours, or turn it off.
I will probably add an option to turn it back on and another feature under viewing animals

Cool idea! Reminds me of Pets for Sims. Im sure any RPG that has some sort of animal related theme will love this!



There is one idea in case someone hasn't come up with it. Breeding one pet with another, such as you have a horse with certain traits and the female breeds with a male. The result is an offspring with half of the males traits and abilities and half of the females. Not sure if the mechanics will work but its an idea ^^

Wow that is an excellent idea. Not sure exactly how feasible it is for a plugin but if it's possible, I vote do it.
