Hi! Can someone please explain to me how the gifting works? I'd really like to use this function, but I don't understand how I gift items to my members. I have created the code and added them to the users to receive the gifts, but how do I get them to actually receive them? Thanks! You have to create a link that your users can click to receive their gifts. (Refer to the FAQ section found in the first post of this topic.) When your members click on the link, they'll be directed to a new page where they either accept or decline the item.

how come admins cant remove items when the setting is enabled? and how come people cant return items when the setting is enabled? Clicking on the items doesnt do anything

Clicking on the items doesnt do anything For anyone to help you we need a link to your forum, especially since this sounds like an issue specific to your board, as this feature works on both of my boards without a hitch. However, I will take a guess and say this might have something to do with your plugin order: this is the most common reason for parts of the plugin not working. Make sure that your plugins are in the following order: 1. Yootil 2. Monetary System 3. Monetary System - Shop 4. All other plugins. If it's not the problem, you might have to wait until Peter comes back from his break to find out the cause, or wait for one of the more experienced followers of this plugin to take a peek at things. Posting a link to your board will ensure a swifter response, either way.

My members stopped being able to return items after I updated the Monetary System. My plugins were originally alphabetized and worked correctly. I switched them to the order in @winged2's post, but that didn't help me. bigballofyarn.proboards.com/Clicking on the butterfly or the tea produces no result. Windows 7 Windows XP Firefox 31.0 Chrome 27.0

bigballofyarn I've got an update for you. I was able to replicate the issue. Your problem might be with the way you identify your items. Looking at your site, I noticed that you use IDs like 1.7 and 2.1. I did that on my own forums, and in both cases the items would not let me refund them. Use numbers only (no decimals) to identify your items and see if that makes a difference. (Just try it with one or two items and see if that makes a difference before you go relabeling all of your items.)

Make sure that the Monetary System and Monetary Shop are both under the Yootil plugin. (Right now they are both near the bottom of your plugin list, it looks like.) Not having those plugins in the proper location will make it so that certain features do not function properly. The correct order is this: 1. Yootil 2. Monetary System 3. Monetary System - Shop 4. All other plugins.
