As Dakota* mentioned in response to your last post, you need to make sure that your plugins are in the right order, otherwise the shop might not function/show up properly. Go to Admin Home > Plugins > Manage and reorder your plugins so they appear as follows:

1. Yootil
2. Monetary System
3. Monetary Shop
4. All other plugins.

If that doesn't help, you might have to wait on Peter to get back from his sabbatical, or for another (more code-savy) user to come and offer more advanced assistance.

Another question x??ƒx - if you scroll down to the bottom of the screen is the shop on display there? As it could be due to modifications on your home page (it shouldn't be though!)

Yes it is indeed - if you right click and inspect element on what you want to edit (in google chrome) you should find some classes

Can anyone help me out with this?

I would like to make a donation-page specific title-bar. Using Loki's suggestion for 'inspect element' showed me that the donation page runs on a generic .title-bar. However, due to my site set-up I've been addressing particular title-bars instead of using a generic title bar for everything.

I taught myself what little CSS I know, and I would like to know if it's possible to get a .title-bar selector set up on the donations page. (And quite possibly, the gift page), but I'm unaware of how to do it, and google is rendering no answers.

One thing I would like to see is a "Sell" option (different from "Refund" in that it would always give back the current price (or percentage thereof)) for things like stock markets.

I just wanted to say that this plug in works flawlessly for me! I love it!

I do have a question/request tho.

My Forum is set up as an RPG and I use the shop for purchasing skills and abilities as well as items. Is there any way to set the shop up in a way that a player must buy items in a certain order? For example.. They MUST have purchased a level 1 ability before they can purchase a level 2 (rather than them just buying level 2 right away), Or perhaps a 'Prerquisite System' where certain items must already be purchased before buying another item. If there is a way I can set this up, I'd love a quick tutorial. If there isn't would it be too much to ask that this be added to the plug in?

Is there a way to make items expire after they have been bought?

Example, and item is bought and will disappear form their inventory after so many hours. But is available indefinitely so it can be bought again at a later time.

Ahh shreck was really excited about this until I set it all up, entered about 100 store items and realized it's broken. Issues I encounter:

1) Item image / name doesn't appear in shopping cart after I click "Add To Cart". However, I am still able to buy.
2) When I add a monetary_shop_items element to my profile template, nothing shows. Testing it in console with the command "pixeldepth.monetary.shop.data(1).get.items()" I notice that the array returned is actually empty. The user id is correct however (my default admin user is ID:1)

I think there may be an issue storing purchases in the user db no?

Any idea?

Fix Update
The problem had to do with my leaving IDs empty in the shop Settings. The plug-in would allow me to add/save settings with the IDs blank, so I figured it would have some way of working it out. Alas, if you do leave your item IDs blank, users would be able to purchase the items but they'll never show up in their inventory. So the lesson is: ID fields are Mandatory!

As well, if you are running a custom theme (I have heavily modified mine) the suggested CSS to constrain your item image wouldn't work on the checkout confirmation popup. This bit of CSS however fixed it nicely for me:

Tip

If you wish to fit larger item images on the Shop page you can do so with this CSS:

This would overwrite the hard-coded item image column width (140px) setting in the code (shop.js):

Hey Peter!

Just want to start off by saying that this code is amazing! Glad to have the shop back from v4.

Anyway, there's 2 things that I was wondering if it were possible to do:

1) Sub-Cats:
I was wondering if you could add some sort of sub-category to the shop. That way when you click on a category, the Sub-Categories will appear beneath it, and you'll choose from which sub category to buy from.

2) Head-Base-Side Images:
Currently I'm using one of Pebble's plugins: Clicky.
Would it be possible to incorporate the shop as well as the bank to this plugin somehow?
