I recently installed the plugin "Word Count Trophies and Points" to my roleplay forum. When I tested it, I posted a new thread with the minimum number of words needed to get points and it worked, applying the points to my mini-profile. It also applied points to a member when they posted a new thread. However, when I or the member (we're currently the only two people on the site that have posted in the boards designated to accumulate points) reply to the same thread that they started and gained points for, neither of us accumulate any further points even though we have posted well above the minimum number of words required.
It appears that this plugin is only applying itself to initial thread posts in the selected boards, but not replies to the same thread.
I have verified twice that the board in which the thread was posted in is selected to give members points, and have re-saved the plugin in case that would give it a sort of reboot. I have read all instructions provided with this plugin as well as checked all editable content to see if anything indicates that its purpose is to only give points on the initial thread post. However, it seems the plugin is meant to give points with both the initial thread post as well as replies to them.
Update 10/21/16: It appears that another member and the site's co-admin have been able to obtain points normally without any trouble. They are both roleplaying together in their own, single thread which is in a separate board. After seeing this, I removed the board that the first member and I have been posting in from the list of boards that gain points, saved, then added it again and saved once more. Still no further points were given when I posted in that thread.
