Hey, Wormopolis. Would it be possible to make an option to set a default background that would be the automatic background for new users kind of like ProBoards default avatar system? But that they can change later if they want.....

No? I meant the plugin. So there'd be an automatic background that can be changed...

Well yeah it can be added into the plugin, but it would be faster to just set mini-profiles to have that default background in the template. then if the plugin doesnt work you can still have that default.

For some reason, I did all the instructions your guid (first page) told me to do, And, It has the three boxes on edit profile, I entered the URL for the backround and the color., but, when i looked for the backround and color, all it showed was this in letters.:
Mini Profile Text Color: ffffff
Mini Profile Backround: http ://i62.tinypic.com/oemj5. jpg (Without the extra spaces)
How can i fix this Wormopolis?

You should be seeing a mock up mini-profile to the right of those boxes

Wormopolis, Does this conflict with other codes or just not work anymore? I installed it, and no options appear to enter images.

works for me on my test site. do you have a remodel or have you changed the structure of how edit profile fields are? what do you see on the edit profile page?

I've downloaded this on my new proboards and i can't seem to figure out exactly how to get it to work. That's my issue :/

I'm new to proboard stuff and i've added it to my plugins but how did you get to add images and such?

so first step is to make sure plugin is actually active. Then go to your edit profile. on your personal tab, do you see a new box with a fake mini profile in it?

Hi Wormopolis

I have a custom mini profile so not sure if thats the issue here ...

But i have completed the setup and when i was applying the background i saw the changes in the preview but when i saved and returned to the mini profile it just appears as a bit of code at the bottom.

Are you able to help me get this working?

Well its something dumb. you changed it from : to - that separates the label from the data. the code wants there to be a : in there. this is one of those "there is no way to account for EVERY possible thing someone might change" type of situations. if you put it back to a : I bet it will work.

Hey Wormopolis,

I followed your instructions and everything looks great when you go to edit the settings, but
when I go to the actual board, this is what shows up in the mini-profile instead of it using
the image I want.



It works in the preview though.
