From the discussions I have read on this subject Misaka, there is not yet a dedicated layout for the login/register page which, in some ways, would make things a bit easier. The rumor is that a template for that page should be coming down the pipe soon which means a code written to expect certain HTML elements could stop working if those elements were changed by a layout change but for now I will concentrate on the presence of the form itself since I am hopeful Proboards won't allow too drastic a change to the form itself since that could potentially break functionality.
If you're planning on dropping an always-on login form in a table or sidebar on the homepage I would probably need to know that too (since that would preclude using the "e_login" route if you wanted those forms to be associated with random images as well).

That's the first I've heard of it.

If the header/footer code works off of the route name it shouldn't matter. All you'd have to do is change the route name it targets.

I thought that went without saying, the original request asked for and was given user-definable random images, unless I missed something then that aspect of the request remains unchanged.

There is already a hack to duplicate the login form in a side table or anywhere for that matter, plus any upcoming global login form which I envision as perhaps a variable one could simply drop in a template such as a forum wrapper and would make using route a pretty fruitless endeavor. Misaka, I pointedly asked you if you planned on using the hack to relocate the form for the exact reason of deciding whether using route would even be feasible. If it's a question of legality I maintain no license or affixed any claim to such a trivial code and I hope that puts any concerns you may have regarding porting the code to rest.

Since I took the time to create a plugin I'll post it here but it hasn't been tested on a forums.net forum simply because there is none accessible to me. If you wish it to be refined/debugged then that can be done. If you wish to modify it for yourself the plugin is unlocked.

if you want to further experiment the plugin on Forum.net I'm more then willing to let you test on mine and create more for Forum.net users if you want.

I want to keep it exactly the way it was when it was first created without the global feature. I also don't plan on using the side table anytime soon.
