David Clark, how is it coming along, lol ? This is just your friendly reminder that I wait in sweet anticipation for this plugin's completion. Me too. Then people on my forum will have no excuse not to quote properly.

Some annoying detail is that button is messing with other plugins and some FF add-ons on copy/paste issues - have member that complain about this. Could it be possible to be assign it on hot key and/or button to be moved away from the selected text with option for time control.

Is it possible to change the background color of the Quick Quote button once the text is highlighted?

I've recently installed this plugin which I think will be super useful for my members, but have noticed something which is causing some confusion. The resulting quote seems to give the quoted users join time/date instead of the post time, so it is making it appear as though what was quoted is much older than it actually is. This thread has some examples: the last two posts on p1 show a quote date of Jun 2014, but the quoted post was actually made in Oct 2015. Is this fixable, or something we have to live with? Thanks!

Love this. But I am getting a double quote. And it would be nice if it would roll down.

I have used this plugin on two other forums and likeit a lot.So I added it to a new forum and now it fails to outline the quoted text! See the post here: bloodnumbers.freeforums.net/post/65/threadI thoght somewhere there might be a new line of CSS needed but now I find no info on customizing anything. What is missing?

When quoting a Guest of whatever name instead of using that name in the quote this plugin just picks any members name.

When quoting a Guest of whatever name instead of using that name in the quote this plugin just picks any members name. As an alpha build I doubt that it will be fixed, but it seems like a small oversight.

I have used this on three forums. One works perfectly, but the other two do not enclose the quote in an outline box! Yes, it is 1.2 alpha. Example: cottonwood.boards.net/post/106This adds confusion for the readers. What went wrong?

The presentation of quotes such as color, outline, etc. are governed by the styling that exists within a theme. If I view that link you posted as a guest I have absolutely no problem seeing an outlined quote so it probably depends on the theme you have selected in your profile on that forum. I can't really help since I do not know what that theme is or have access to it as a guest viewing that forum.

Governerned by WHAT styling? In the easy theme colors, can you suggest what part nees attention?
I happen to have really limited vision and work with inverted colors to be able to see anything? I really don't fiddle with color choices because I cannot see what I'm doing! But if I knew what part name to work on, I could get that done.
And I gues I thought Support always had access to the engine room? But thanks for looking.
UPDATE: Too easy/ I exported a theme from my one forum where it workrd and imported it to the funky one! All looks good now, but a few changes to fix graphics . I can do that. I still wish I knew what part needed the styling change?
