I installed this plugin to my forum and I really don't know how it works. I don't see anything different so I have no idea how to use it. Can someone help me please?

Which plugin? Can you leave a link to the plugin? And your forum URL usually helps as well.

Ahhh , OK. I wrote something similar a while back so thought it may be my code. I'll tag RedBassett for you as he'll be able to help you better than I can.

Essentially the plugin forces all text to be no smaller than the size you set in the plugin's settings. Once you install the plugin, go to the setting's tab inside the plugin (in your admin panel), set whether you want the plugin to function on posts, PMs, or both, and set a minimum font size. The "Override Size Tags" option sets whether users can use UBBC size tags in their posts to set a size smaller than the minimum.

So Sorry RedBassett but it still doesn't seem to be working.
I assume that when I set a certain font size then no one can use a font smaller, not even me. Is this correct? Like I said in my first post, maybe I don't know how it works.
I went to settings set the size and who could see the plugin. I then clicked save settings.
I really don't know what it means by who can see the plug in. I'm in no way tech savvy and my forum is a group of mostly people my age, you know when your vision starts going. I want to set it where no one on the forum can use fonts smaller than what it's set at, in pm's and posts. However I do want everyone to be able to use font's larger than what is set if they so choose. Am I even on the right track with this plugin?
I'm sorry you have to deal with this computer dumb old fogey.
I really appreciate your help.

No problem. Be sure to let me know if you have any further issues Hi RedBassett I just noticed that this thread is marked as resolved. I thought if I quoted you it would show in your profile and hopefully you would return here and read my previous post.

Apologies, I have been away for a few days.
Are you clicking the edit button beside the plugin to get the "who can see" section? If so, you want that set to everyone for this, as it means who the plugin runs for (the code won't get executed for people who can't see the plugin).
If you set a size and checked posts and PMs in the settings tab, then it should be allowing anything above that size but nothing below. Be sure to set the "override size tags" option if you want to force all text larger than the minimum.

Hi RedBassett, I have done all of those things and it still is not working. I am using Opera does that make a differences? Also does it make a difference that I'm the administrator? There are things I can do and others can't. I don't know, like I said earlier I am a computer dummy. Starting this forum has been a learning experience every step of the way. The last plugin I installed the person who created it had to send me a different version because it wasn't working in Opera. Well let me know if there is anything else I can do. I'll ask my moderators if it works in their browsers and let you know. Thanks for helping me!

You currently have your minimum size set to 12px. Can you link to a post on the forum that has a font smaller than 12px? I couldn't find one clicking around a little.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. The "K" is inside a font-size tag in the post, but you have the option to override font tags disabled. Try enabling that in the plugin settings and it should fix the issue.

No worries! I have tried everything I could think of uninstall /reinstall and nothing. Thought I'd give it one last try just now and it works! I'm freaking out over here!
There is one last thing, I'm not sure if this is how it works but When I first go to a thread the post are the size I want then when I go to another page they are small again. If I refresh the page then they're big! Is this how it should work?
