I've posted an update (v.0.0.4 at the same link) that is now capable of notifying about new posts when using the quick reply. Keep in mind that it is still marked "alpha" so would not be deemed ready for prime time forum use. It uses a new method of post discovery that frankly has yet to be reviewed by anybody at Proboards and as such may contain code deemed not appropriate for the faint of heart or suitable for those looking to walk the straight and narrow.
