Can you try clearing the key of the plugin, then try and set the threads as important again.

how would I do that? I looked around the settings and didnt see anything about clearing the key...

Hi! Go to Admin > Plugins > Manage and click the Keys tab. To the right of the plugin, you should see Clear lit in blue (this means there is data in the key). Click Clear to clear out the key - the text should change to black.

How do I get this to post on the first page of my forum?

By default, it should be displayed above your forum, so I am guessing it has something to do with your layout/template.

Could you try this please.. In your forum template, add this to the top of your main page somewhere...

<div id="IT_Here"></div>

Then put 'IT_Here' in the Alternate Cell ID field in the plugin settings and let me know they are then displayed.

Hi Todge.
I created a post and marked it as Important but then deleted it without marking it as unimportant. It now shows in the Important Threads list and I can't delete it from there. Is there anyway it can be deleted please?

gb9454, could you please tell me how you deleted the thread that is still showing in the Important Threads list?

The reason I ask is because the plugin should have removed that thread automatically when you deleted the thread, so I'd like to fix that issue at the same time I add an extra option to remove threads.

What I usually do is go to the thread, then Actions > Moderate > Mark as Unimportant. This time, I created the thread and then realised that other informaton had to be included.
So I think I deleted the post before I marked it as unimportant and somehow it's remained in the Important Threads list.

That would probably explain it, and I doubt I can fix that issue as it's an automatic feature I can't hook into. Ho-hum..

I need shooting now! In my stupidity, I decided that the only thing I could do was delete the plugin and then install it again.
Did I save the settings? Of course not!
So now I'm left with trying to get it back to how I had it before. At the moment, I can't seem to get my important thread (I'm testing it with random posts) to appear horizontally, they're only appearing vertically at the moment.
Your help will be hugely appreciated.
