If I do the same, the Important Threads are still updated...

It is possible that the key was being written to at the same time your member posted in her thread, overwriting her data.

That’s weird; it’s been happening every time she replies to her locked thread. It’s not that big of a deal. Thanks for all you do.

Could you PM me the exact settings you have for the group she is in so I can mimic it on my test forum. If I get the same problem then, I can try to find out why.

Hi Todge,

I've been using this plugin for a few weeks, but today I marked a new thread as important and now I can't get the plugin to work. I deleted it, reinstalled it, moved it to the top of the plugin list, but no joy. i already had 3 or 4 marked as important.

I've got both permissions set to everyone, was using the default layout, and it is enabled but I'm not getting the option in Moderation to mark threads as important now.   forum

I've checked this repeatedly on my test forum and it works every time.

Can you please post a link to where this is happening so I can take a look and see if I can fathom out why it's working for me but not for you.

I thought Important Threads (named Essential Threads on my forum) used to show for guests, but it’s not anymore.

I had the OP post “Test!” in her threads, and Important Threads do not update. Below is one of the threads.

Ah-ha.. Thank you.. That gives me something to work with..

I've done some additional testing.. If I create a group allowing a member to lock threads, the plugin still works, but only if the member replied via the reply page, it only fails when they try to post via the Quick Reply. is this the same in your case?
