I can't see either 'Survival Tips' or the Dynamically Tabbed Table on your forum. But, if you add <div id="ITS_Here"></div> to your page layout where you'd like the Important Threads displayed, and add ITS_Here in the Alternate Cell Id option within the plugin settings, the Important Threads list should be displayed within that <div> on your layout. It's within the Peekaboo right side table, I'll try it again though

Todge, Love the layout of it, but I'd like the important thread post links to go to the first post in the thread. I added the [FP] in the Cell Contents > Preferred Format box in Settings, but it then removes the entire container and just has the link. What else do I need to put in the Cell Contents > Preferred Format box to keep the container around the link? Thanks! To do that you will need this version of the plugin. Then, in the 'Preferred Format' box, put this.. <tr class="board item"><td class="icon"></td><td>[FP]</td><td class="posts">[TP]</td><td class="latest last">by [LP]<br>[PT]</td></tr> and tick the box to use the default layout.

Is there any way members can mark their own threads as important and to change it from 'mark as important' to 'Mark as Open'

Todge
I am sure i am missing something obvious but i cant get the Important Threads plug in to show at all on any page.
Its my first attempt at installing a plug in so excuse the naivety.
I can see the plug in on the admin manage plugins. Its ticked in green and the default theme (i only have 1 theme ) is ticked .
Any ideas ?

Thank you.. Have you set any threads as Important? Thanks for the reply .Sorry for delay in replying but i was out all day. I dont have an option to set a thread as important. If i create a new thread then click on the cog i get the following options for the thread : Bookmark, Make Announcement, Sticky,Lock, Enable falling. Is the "important" setting elsewhere?

Thank you.. Have you set any threads as Important? Todge the plug in is working well thanks . There is one small issue that i cant seem to solve. The posts dont have the red exclamation mark . I looked in the settings and i can see where we can have our own custom logo but i havent put anything in that box so i assumed it would default to your red icon . Any pointers ? Thanks

It should indeed default to the read icon..
Do you have a code that is removing the thread icons?

It should indeed default to the read icon.. Do you have a code that is removing the thread icons? I dont think so . On the settings of "Flag Important threads" there is an option to change the icon to my own , but that is blank. Can you tell me where else the code may be that removes icons?
