Great job guys! I wouldn't have succeeded without your guessing... mostly because I died early in the game.

Congratz for winning, I really didn't think it was Soren, so props to you!
Although this game kinda sucked. I'll tell you why. People aren't writing enough. There's not enough speculation. Also those who are accused don't even seem to go into detail when defending themselves. We need more conversation, or otherwise the game is a lot harder, and poorer decisions are made.

Agreed with that. I tried making a good defending and accusations.

Haha tru'dat.
But yeah, when someone was accused they hardly defended themselves. It's not very helpful. Especially if you're a villager and you've been accused, speak up for yourself! If you don't defend yourself, then we're bound to think you're mafia! And that's bad for the village!
I speculate, defend, speculate, defend etc etc etc

Well, I wasn't very good at this. Had suspicions that Graham was the detective for a while, but when I was thinking it might be best to kill him off he went and accused me, so I didn't really want to kill him off after that. Then I... panic killed him later on? I don't know why I thought that was a good idea.

I can only speak for myself, but I don't think a lot of PMing went down this game, which I found to be integral in earlier rounds. It makes coordinating a vote less nerve-wracking and gives you more material to find inconsistencies in people's reasoning. Plus, it can get pretty intense -- see: old games where screenshots of PMs caused lots of grief, leading to their being banned for a while Also, I mildly insulted everyone with a special role at some point or another. Sorry, I was trying to provoke people into PMing me

That's poor of me not to take into consideration that for a lot of you it was your first time playing. Although this is my second haha. Either way it takes a bit of getting used to!

I mean, you don't have to, but that's what I like to do It's easiest if you're the detective, as you can start lining up people you've already cleared, but it can be useful to start alliances with people you're not sure of. Helps avoid a split vote and, like I said earlier, the more you get people to talk, the more likely they'll slip up and reveal their role

As always, I feel compelled to ask whether there'd be interest in doing another one of these. This game gave me the impression that people have lost interest, but it might have just been the sluggish pace early on combined with talkative players being killed early. If we were to start a new game, I might cap the night phase at 24 hours or something similar to prevent holdups.
