Rotating Banners

Hello!

I know that once upon a time, back when we were still working with V4, there used to be coding that would allow for you to have multiple banners that rotated at random as you moved through a site. They were not necessarily assigned to a specific page, but changed every time the page was refreshed or you moved on to something new.

I noticed that we have a plug-in that would allow for banners to change based on the day of the month, and another that will change if you assign the banners to specific pages of your forum. Do we have any sort of coding that would allow me to have multiple banners that rotate at random throughout my site without having to be assigned to anything or making me manually change them all the time? Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

All the instruction you need are in the plugin.

If it's not working I will need a link to your forum, and if you are not sure about something, what, exactly, are you nor sure about?

I'm not sure how I can help unless I know what is wrong.

Just list your imahe URLs in the box provided in the settings, one URL per line with no blank lines, and let the plugin do the rest.

Yup, it's a plugin.

Once downloaded, in your forum, go to the Admin Panel > Plugins > Manage then click 'Import Plugin'.

A pop-up opens asking you to 'Choose Plugin File', click that and find the plugin file you downloaded and 'open', the plugin will then be installed on your forum automatically.

Not with this plugin in it's current form I'm afraid.

If you are prepared to wait I can add that option, I'm going away tomorrow and will not be back until the end of January, so I do not have the time to do anything to it until then.
