toetapping, I just looked at your site in FF, IE, and Chrome. Everything is working except in FF. The up button doesn't work at all And in your header you have the down link that doesn't work either in FF. And the one in your header, it works in IE but has the 'no image' symbol by the word Down and in Chrome it has the 'no image' symbol without the word Down, but it is functional in IE and Chrome only

Hey Bütch. Where's the Up button not working for you in FF? I use FF and went to a post and the UP button worked for me. The Down button in posts and the Down button on the home page didn't work though - but I think I know what might be wrong with those.

For me the 'Up' button doesn't work in FF on any page at toetapping's site that has post on it. Here's the page I have open at the moment

Lynx, I noticed something else with the Back to Top plug in. It works ok when logged out IF you are using the original images. If you use custom images it doesn't. Any idea why that would be? That just makes no sense to me. I use custom images at my sites but another site I help with is using the ones that came with the plug in and I just tested it there and its fine when logged out. weird.

Something I just noticed is if you scroll down the page without using the Down button, the Up button will work, till you click the Down button, then the Up button will stop functioning till you refresh the page. Odd?

blc - I'll play around with trying to use a custom image on my one forum that has the Back To Top plugin and let you know what I find out. Bütch - I was browsing around on toetapping's site and the Down button in posts started to work. toetapping may still be working on it, as the Down link under the Login / Register is not working and at the top of threads, there is a To Bottom button not working. EDIT: blc - to check it out, I just Googled for an up arrow image and grabbed one. I applied it to my forums, and even logged out it still works. You can take a look here to see it. You can't miss it when it becomes an up arrow.

toetapping, said the buttons in the posts are working in FF ~ and they are for me when I just checked her site.
But one of her members is having a problem with them in XP and she needs help sorting that out.
But yes as she posted, the word "Down" under the Nav Tree isn't working in FF.

Lynx, you're right! I never saw that button next to the reply, but it doesn't work either. The only ones I see working are at the bottom of each post.
And it's the same site that her member says the buttons aren't working in XP. But I'm not even sure that version of Windows is even supported by ProBoards any more.

blcThey're working for me on True Blue Liberty. Give me a few to check out the test site. I'll edit this post when done. Edit: The Back To Top is not working on the test site for me. Inspecting the element looks right. Did you put Brian's code in? 2nd Edit: You're probably talking about the Back To Top plugin? If so, TBL's is working. It's working on test, but the Back To Top link in the posts aren't.

I may be wrong here, but lets not confuse the Up & Down arrows on the sides of the forum with the ones that are links in the header/footer and inside the post. These are two different things here and use different plugin's and settings. I have the Up/Down buttons on the R/H side of my forum's with custom gifs and having no problem's of any kind. This may be part of the problem here, confusing the two. Maybe not, just a thought. Mine can be seen at any of the links in my sig.

I'm also using FF v36.0 and for those using up/down buttons, this is what I did: 1) Place this in your Global Header: (as Brian mentioned a few threads back) <script type="text/javascript"> /* Back to top onclick fix by Brian Ordonez */ function scrollClick(){ $('.to-top').click(function(){ scroll(0,0); }); $('.to-bottom').click(function(){ scroll(0,document.body.scrollHeight); }); } $(document).ready(function(){ scrollClick(); }); proboards.on('afterSearch',function(){ scrollClick(); }); </script> 2) Go to Admin > Structure > Layout Templates > Thread > Post List and look for: (line 33 or so) and add/modify this: Caution: Before making any modifications to any templates, do a Ctrl + A + C and then Ctrl + V and save to notepad. It's a good practice to get into when modifying any template.
