I have a tweaked notification bubble that appears in my drop down and I don't think they are playing nice together.

To the left is a pic of how mine looks and functions without the plugin turned on and to the right is how it looks when it is enabled.

Can you help me fix this?

I have also installed the Extra notifications that you have provided in this thread and when I tried to use that, I got 2 identical announcement notifications showing in the profile instead of two separate ones. I would really like to get those to work at the same time. Any help you could give me with that would be greatly appreciated.

Is the only issue here that it's creating duplicate notification bubbles? If so, you can try going to the plugin's settings and changing the Menu Item option from "Profile" to "My Profile", so it only targets the menu item you've got in place and not the elements in the drop-down menu gtv22.

This plugin is a bit hacky so it doesn't work too well if you've got a heavily modified nav bar (as you already know!).

Also, the section where you input the notification text accepts HTML, so if you wanted to add a small icon you could just do so with <img src="URL to your image"> before the notification text!

Okay, I changed it to 'My Profile' and I no longer have the duplicate notification bubbles. That was the biggest problem, Thank You so much!

Image insertion worked perfectly, also. Thank you!

Is there some way I can get it to say (1) next to notifications in the drop down like it normally does, as is illustrated in my first pic?

Lastly, how do I get this to work simultaneously with Extra Notifications 1 & 2. Currently, if I try to use them at the same time, it just repeats the Announcement Notification, instead of the extra message.

I could probably devise a patch script for you that helps the plugin function this way with your customized layout, but I wouldn't have an ETA on that unfortunately.

Sounds like a bug? Can you help me get a better look at it, whether by screenshot or having me log into an account exhibiting this issue?

The Second one is supposed to say, 'Extra Notifications 1 Test' because that is what I have entered in that one.

Hi David Clark

I know you are busy, but I was wondering how things are looking for this possibly getting a fix soon? With the Holidays coming it would be very useful for me to be able to send more than one announcement at a time.
