Mobile Ad Redirecting

Michael I just heard from Theophania that we had 9 more reports of redirects this morning.

Frankly, this is out of hand. It's been a week of users being unable to access the community reliably.

There's literally very little we can do to prevent it, as it's something that's affecting the whole internet at the moment and not just our service. We're trying our best to scan for it and find it, but this particular one is extremely difficult. I understand the frustration on your end, but believe me when I say it's even more frustrating on our end when these issues crop up. They're simply not always easy to find.

We had sent a message to one of our advertising partners yesterday explaining as much as we could on the issue with hopes they would be able to assist. There doesn't appear to be any new reports of this redirect today on Support, so I just wanted to check with you to find out if you've heard any new reports as of this morning?

Ricky I have not received any complaints. I'll have to wait until later this afternoon to check in with Theo to see if she got any.

It's happening to me every few clicks when I'm on safari on an iPhone. So far nothing in the iPad. I'm in Houston.

This has been happening to me as well, for a few days now. Redirects to App Store for various games and apps. I'm also on Safari on an iPhone 5S. Located in southern Maine

Thanks for the additional info, Gbcn user; we're still trying to track the issue down. I believe David Clark has provided some scanning instructions to a couple of members that are experiencing this issue, so that we can find the source of the issue from those experiencing the re-directs. Hopefully we'll be able to have this sorted once and for all before much longer.

This is still happening for our users. It seems to be mostly late at night. Was the cause ever found? I'm worried we are going to lose members over this.
