a tidy button

is it possible to hide all the containers at the bottom of the pages to tidy the look of my sites and just make them a button next lets say the 'home' button at the top of ever page?

iv an idea to make my site really simplistic and im wondering if this is possable thank you inadvance.

What containers exactly? If you mean the Proboards links and the ad at the bottom, then no, they need to stay. If you are talking about something else, then please clarify and a link to your site is always helpful.

Not saying if this could be done before I know more. Exactly what would happen when you click the button for that info? Does it take you to a new page or does a box appear on the main page with that info or does clicking on that button unhide it? Just need an idea of what you are thinking.

Are you wanting separate buttons for the Legend and Mini-Profile or one button for both. I don't know how easy it will be to do that since links in your menu takes you to a url address and not a popup.

If you are set on the above, I'll see what I can do but a very easy way would be just to hide it with button somewhere to show/hide it but it would show in place. Just a thought.

Ha, ha, I'm working on someone profile request so I think I have that on my brain. Yes, I meant info/stats center plus the legend. Do you want a separate button for each one? Also I think having it on every single post would be over-kill, in my honest opinion.  I thought about trying to put the button in the menu like you originally requested but you'd not be able to see if you toggled open or closed. How about something like this? (look at the bottom.)

you can make it one button if you want,  and you can put the button in the menu that would be fine.

Well, this was much easier than I thought. Took me 5 minutes. lol

First thing you need to do is go into your home template:

Admin> Themes> Layout Templates>Home and right around line 12-ish add the blue right where you see it below: (ignore what I named it as it will be hiding both)

Now scroll down to the very bottom and add this closing div.

Next, go to your wrapper template and add the blue where I have it: (around line 39-ish)

Nope, the wrapper template is:

Admin> Themes> Layout Templates>Forum Wrapper

Be very sure you put everything in the exact spot I indicated.

Also, when you click on a board, the stats and legend will show up again. If you want those hidden too, you'll just go to the "Board" template, make sure the "board" tab is clicked and then around line 45-ish find what I posted below add the blue:

and then to close that div scroll down to the bottom and add the blue:
