Thank you.  I wasn't sure what this had to do with the Home template I gave you and thus I was confused when you brought in "admin>structure>category & board ". You did actually help me understand just by telling me the clicking part. Where did you get the code to do that? Either the code has flaws or you put it in the wrong place or did you add my home template in addition to what you also had in the home template?  I need a link to where you got the code to see if I can tell where things went wrong.

That needs to be fixed first as I'm sure it is messing up the Home template code I gave you.

Well, I have had it awhile, guessing about one fourth of the time you have helped me and disabeling the plugins didn't do anything, but here they are.

I said "admin>structure>category & board" because if I press the admin button, then press structure and lastly press category & boards I can see, edit, create and delete boards. So I assumed that was my first stop to see if there where any duplicate categories and boards there that I could delete from there, I simply told you that I found no duplicates there though since the info center is also duplicated I suppose that hunch where incorrect.

I tested removing your code and it went back to normal, I must have done something wrong, here is what I have:

OK, now I understand how the boards templates got involved. That makes sense. I typically do not look at what plugins you have unless there is a problem and had no clue you were adding that while we were working on this.

I put both of those plugins on my site and do not have the issue you have.

But the reason your "affiliate with us" part isn't working is the red below is missing.

 (ProBoards has been messing up my identations and putting spaces between everything in code tags so must of deleted that when I was trying to clean it up. Frustrating.) I fixed it in my code in that post.

If that does nothing, I know you said you disabled those two collapse plugins but did you try disabling any other plug-ins and make sure you don't have duplicate plugins.

I really sorry this is taking so long and the misunderstandings. Once we get this issue fixed with the crazy duplicates I can move on to help you fix the last things you wanted.

Fixed, the problem was that I had duplicate codes for the info center, removing one of them solved it though I still can't see the grab me bit.

Edit: I have deleted it now but I tried to make a new theme, adding the code and the css had no "Grab me" part, just like my default theme, maybe I somehow lost it?

I could have swore I posted this but you are missing the red in this bit in the home template: That'll bring back your grap me links. (start looking for it as you get near the 184 line.)

But that isn't the only problem, Wormo's pm count isn't working right. It says one for everyone even if I have two. I got it so it takes you to your pms when you click it but the count is wrong so that won't work.

So I'm working on a convoluted way to get the pm's (and Admin/Profile) with the bubble.

As you can see, I have the edit, profile and PM' s there and they might have to stay together although they can be stacked. It's complex because you don't want those to show for guests and members should see their pm's/profile and only admin should see admin and PM's/profile. So I need to use a lot of if statements to do that so having them together will be much easier.

So if you have patience with me I can probably figure this out. Just a few questions/comments.

1. In place of the pm/admin/profile button what would you want to be there for guests?

2. Is it o.k. that that the pm/admin/profile button stay in the same area? Like where the old pm code that doesn't work is but stacked maybe. Or just how I have them in my screen shot? That would leave the right side rather empty and it is kind of empty anyway with just the welcome stuff. Either place, one or the other will be rather empty.

3. Since there is going to be empty space either above the grab me code or the right side below the welcome/login (depending what you decide, is there something else you'd want in that empty space? I hope I'm saying this so as not to confuse.

You sure can have a static affiliate there. Thanks for the other info. I should have it worked out sometime today and it should be easy changes to the template.

Edit:   zeckes -- Would it be o.k. with you if the welcome and login/out/register would be above everything on the right side. In other words it would be centered but span sort of above/across the chat rules, the avatar and the static affi's? Because I it goes on two lines for guests and IE is not doing it the same as FF/Chrome and it is getting rather maddening. That will also give it symmetry/balance. So a bigger space above those three things and then it would mostly be above the avatar:

I'm so glad I misunderstood because it looked so ugly. lol  Fixed it, there are now 6 static affi's. Also, I'm sorry, life got in the way of me doing anything but I did go through all the css and class/id names and named them so you can easily figure out what changes what, plus I put comments in the css and template too, with bits of added info.

Take another look before I give you the code and yes, I'm going to have you recopy both the home template and the css and get rid of the old I gave you before. But I want any last changes made before I give it to you.

Here it is from an administrators view. The only difference for a non staff members is the admin button is gone.

Also, ignore the scroll bar colors. I just got side tracked. I can include them in the css or exclude them. Your choice. But do let me know any last changes you want and fyi: Changing much about the admin, profile and PM messages buttons/text is a nightmare and I can't do much of anything with them aside from what I've done. But anything else I can.

It works great, though I noticed that when I logout that there was a line "Put something here for guests in place of links to admin profile messages", I simply added a hr tag to divide it and the line looks ok.

We don't lock threads or move them for stuff like this. Once I see a few days have gone I might put the label on it as resolved but you can still post in it anytime you have question. So free to ask away if you get stumped on anything whether today, tomorrow or a week from now.
