I see now. It should be working fine. Right now it only supports tic tac toe if u enable it in tic tac toe settings. If someone makes a move on your board after your first move it should notify whos turn it is. As i stated other plugins will work with it and possibly other type notifications if u ask me what you would like.

basically if there is a button you click on proboards I could make a notification for it.
I can't do notifications on posts though. That won't work for my plugin. But likes, moderations, things of that nature would be possible

It's a plugin to be used by plugin devs to send an alert to the user on a certain actions. What that action is depends on the plugin author who is using the interests notification plugin.

P̌̓aͧś̀t̀u͒le͆o͂2̀3̃̓. Is it possible to add data to a a non-super user key who isn't on the page? I thought I read that somewhere.

Only through the member choosing them in the pb.member.select() dialog.
This will load any users key data to the page so you can save to it.

I tried building something like this a while back but didn't really get anywhere due to my lack of plugin development skills and the fact that I couldn't fetch user's notification data and display it on every page.

I see that so far your plugin it only works for the Tic Tac Toe plugin, but additional functionality (such as Likes, Messages from the admin, Member birthday's and when a new member joins the forum; all according to the settings set in "Edit User Profile" > "Notifications") would be really useful. I see that another member has already asked this, but I'm just putting it out there to show how much I want this

A lot of those things are not currently possible. The like button would be possible. I plan on adding those. features when proboards adds the calls that i need.

Yeah, I understand that. Just a summary of what could work:
-Likes
-The post comments plugin by Quozzo , since the default notification's system doesn't notify the user when a new comment is made.
-Messages from the admin.

I'm guessing those ^ would work (not sure about the comments one, but I think that's up to the creator of the plugin).

Messages from the admin would lead to potential overwrites. Thats why im waiting for the extra calls. Quozzo can add support if he wants
